We had never been here before and had just read reviews about it being a hole in the wall and really good so we decided to try it. The people there were super sweet and even spoke a little Spanish to us. The food was bomb we ordered the beef pho, the shrimp curry marinated Tom xao lan ca ri, and the red cocunut curry. The portions are a little bit on the larger side but that just means you can enjoy some of it at home too! They gave us some extra chili sauce as well that you could tell was made from scratch and made sure to warn us about spice levels. It wasn’t that spicy but the extra chili sauce added that extra spice for me. They had gluten free options as well as peanut free options so they do a pretty good job to accommodate allergies. This place is a hidden gem!

Mai Asia is a gem that we found a few years ago, and we love it! Joe and his wife provide excellent service and are very friendly. The food is excellent, and sometimes Joe will share a treat at the end of the meal if he has something different from Thailand. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Thai food.

The owners are very kind and pleasant to talk with so I hesitated leaving a review. But for the amount I paid for a quick lunch to go. I feel like I got jipped. The bowl was filled with mostly noodles and it’s not your traditional “fresh” bowl. It was topped with some really sad looking basil leaves 🙁 and so I was really excited for the egg rolls but the filling was some sort of dark filling. I have no idea what it was. Not sure when they changed this item but I also could not eat it not knowing what it is. Sad to say this will be the last time I order any take out from here.

Satay – fried chicken not grilled. No grill marks or marination to speak of.
Pork Vermicelli Noodle Salad – 80% onion in place of pork. Not pleasant flavor. Cabbage instead of lettuce as listed.
Salad rolls – tasted old, made the night before or morning of.
Very disappointed in the food for how nice the guy was. As nice as he is don’t order the items above if you value your money.

It’s run by a very nice couple that make you feel very welcome. Everything is made fresh to order. The lotus salad is very good. The soups are all very good. My favorite is the crab and shrimp flavored soup with chicken and fresh greens.
