Finally tried Mornin Bite after driving by several times and stalking their daily specials on social media. We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. Overall positive experience with some critiques. The “sweet” tea wasn’t very sweet at all. I had unsweetened and hubby had sweet and we could barely tell the difference. Sweet tea sometimes is a deal breaker for him so that was disappointing. I had the chicken tenders which is my standard in coastal towns because I don’t eat seafood. Unfortunately, the chicken tenders were not good. They were tender but no flavor whatsoever. Blandest chicken I have ever had. I had to coat them in buffalo and ranch. The fries had way too much season salt so that helped offset the bland chicken tenders but it was way too much salt by itself. Hubby had the teriyaki chicken sandwich and loved it along with sweet potato fries. I got a bite of his and it was delicious. I should have stuck with breakfast as that all looked great on the other customers plates. Lesson learned on that.
The dining area and restrooms (two separate single stalls) were clean and the atmosphere was welcoming. Service was great. We were seated quickly and the server was friendly. Our food came out fast and portions were generous. Prices were as expected for a coastal town. Overall we would try again with some adjustments to our orders.

A sweet find this am after church. A nice menu with lots of options and also kids options. I had the regular breakfast; eggs, meat choice, fried potatoes and toast. Very good. My husband’s was a four choice omelet and toast. He said it was very delicious. Very efficient and friendly staff. You can also get morning adult drinks here. Loved it and loved the fishing theme as it is right on the water.

I had the shrimp & grits, let me tell you this is some of the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had, 10/10 amazing. I tried my friends omelet too and it was perfectly cooked. Staff was super friendly and fast too. Will definitely stop by next time we come though.

Went in with high hopes, looks like such a cute place! The staff were extremely unwelcoming….from the hostess, wait staff, etc. Our waitress barely stopped at our table to take our order, bring drinks, etc. It seemed like she couldn’t get away fast enough but had plenty of time to talk with other staff, patrons, etc.
We ordered a cheeseburger cooked medium. The burger came out near rare and when we mentioned it to our waitress, she couldn’t care less and took off saying she would see what they wanted to do. We watched her talk to the cook while they leered over at our table. Waitress came back and said “cook said that’s medium” and walked away….. nothing else. I understand that sometimes there are variations in medium depending on the cook, etc but she was plain rude. Eventually she brought a microwaved burger back to our table! Laughable!
We also ordered beignets which were overcooked and hard. All around not a good experience. Not sure if this is a locals only type of establishment but we were essentially ignored from the get go at this place! Probably some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant.

The food was absolutely delicious — everything came out fresh and tasted amazing. But what really made our experience stand out was the service. Brooke went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of the entire time. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Outstanding service like that is hard to find. We’ll definitely be back! The food was absolutely delicious everything came out fresh and tasted amazing. But what really made our experience stand out was the service. We just left from brunch at Mornin’ Bite and we had such a great experience, I wanted to take the time to leave a review. The staff was very friendly and everything was very clean! I loved that the menu wasn’t huge but still had a great selection. The biscuits and gravy were phenomenal which is hard to find at a restaurant…… completely homemade from scratch and the biscuits were some of the best we have ever had. So many other options on the menu looked good. Can’t wait to go back next time we are in the area!
P.S…… the deep fried ravioli was amazing as well!!

Breakfast Quesadilla with Chicken. It’s not even on the menu, yet they still make it perfect every time. The green salsa is my favorite! Coffee is delightful and always piping hot. Service is great. I’ve not had one yet but they feature cocktails like Mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, and Old Fashioned with a full bar. Excellent place for a brunch.

Cute breakfast find on last day of our Florida to Texas trip. Sweet server. Delicious breakfast. Husband really liked his French toast made with Cuban bread. I ordered biscuits & gravy because other reviews had pictures and they looked good. And, they were good! Just like I make at home — fluffy biscuits and gravy that’s not lumpy and thick and the sausage was fine, not big hunks like most places make it. Very good. Ignore bacon in my pic, nice server replaced it since it was a little too “crispy” for my liking. It was tasty bacon. Good coffee and good vanilla latte too.

Just had breakfast at Mornin’ Bite, and it was amazing! The food was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I needed to start my day. The coffee was strong and perfectly brewed, and the pastries were out of this world. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, making it feel like a cozy little spot to start your morning. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to often! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great breakfast spot!
