We dropped in for late lunch for the wonderful views and and a drink with some snacks. It was so good we stayed for more food and made it an early dinner. The sashimi and rolls were excellent! And service was exceptional!

Very American style upscale “Japanese”. Made reservations a month ago because we haven’t been to this teppanyaki and sushi spot, and decided it would be a nice Valentine’s Day treat.
Arriving we were told that teppanyaki was all reserved. This is interesting because the have no website, just a bookings link which makes no distinction between teppanyaki reservations and… Other? Very dissapointing. But we roll with it, we like sushi, no problem.
We are sat at the sushi bar (which again, not something you’d need to make reservations for). Sake boxes are present which is always a nice sign. Unfortunately, they don’t do the thing where they fill the box until it overflows on to a plate, they place a shot glass in the box, which meh. Sake boxes are drinking vessels (called masu in Japan, they’re amazing). We enjoyed a shot of the house stuff.
The sake list is tiny (5 options) and very pricy, a few decent options but no large bottles for sharing, no nigori, no house hot service, etc…
The sushi is mostly American style rolls, so you’re going to be eating cream cheese, avocado, etc… not traditional maki. The nigiri has a few usual suspects, but no saba, ika, hirame, hokkiga, hotate… This is not a real sushi bar, unfortunately.
Ordered a premium combination. They have beef nigiri which is flamed tableside, but AFTER it’s plated which is weird, so the torch is also flaming all of the surrounding sushi. Sushi rice is over seasoned and mushy, in fact everything is a bit wet and saucy. They don’t let the seafood speak for itself here. That said everything tasted good. No ginger.
We also got the sashimi. It’s not sashimi, which is blocks of fresh fish. This is aguachile, soaked in yuzu and shaved thin. It was pretty good, but know what you’re getting.
Gyōza were decent.
Drinks were fine, but order off the list, these aren’t mixologists. Service was excellent, very friendly and attentive.
Would we repeat? Meh. Maybe for teppanyaki, not for sushi. To be fair, outside of Mexico City, I’m not sure that authentic sushi exists in Central Mexico. This is 4/10 in Los Angeles but pretty good for Puebla. Didnt get dessert, maybe next time.
But don’t use the reservation system, call. They desperately need a website and a menu.

Ya van tres veces que como aquí y puedo decir que tienen el mejor Tepanyaki que he probado, superior a hoteles de lujo en Riviera maya y que otros de especialidad en CDMX.
De Puebla superior por mucho. Excelente calidad de ingredientes, una vista espectacular desde las mesas, la atención de Ivan es impecable y el Chef Daniel un máster. Sin duda recomendable ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
