The food is fine, not great and certainly not worth the price, but acceptable. The service is great, but the atmosphere is awful. Turn the TVs and music down, they’re all merging together and making a terrible din that spills out into the courtyard

Great premade salad for a decent price ($12). They also had a premade Caesar salad as well as a few other wraps and sandwiches.

I’m not really a fan, the food is fine, but not great. The price is high when compared to the quality of the food, IMO. There is no other competition on base (more or less), so I think they’re just a bit complacent.
If you do get something, usually the special of the day is most worthwhile. The burgers are not good, dry, almost no flavor, too much bread.
The people are work there are always nice, and have a smile, I would’ve left a review years ago if it weren’t for that, and that’s the primary reason I give it 3 stars vs only 2.
I think if the base would allow competing options, the complacency would go down and the price/quality ratio would improve.

I always have lunch at cafe del monte. The staffs are nice and kind. Especially the chef and the man who gets orders. Their cheeseburger is one of the best. I think there are 3 number one burger in LA. Innout, five guys and Cafe del monte. I highly recommend you to try their cheeseburger.

For years they would not remove the onions from the burgers on request. Not on purpose, I just don’t think the cook understood or cared. But things have improved and they seem to listen to customers. Now if we can just stop them from mass producing their breakfast burritos and letting them get soggy, this would be my place for food. Edit 12/19/2019 Well, after enjoying a brief period of time where they would not put onions on my burger, they are back to ignoring the request every time I order a burger without onions. The lady that takes the order clearly tells them no onions and the lady that handed me my order told me no onions, I then walk over to the condiments section and proceed to remove the pile of onions from my burger. I just don’t understand how the cooks do not understand the words no onions. This has to be an English Comprehension issue. Nobody can be that bad at putting together an order unless they simply do not understand the instructions.

Great place for a quick, inexpensive bite to eat.

If you enjoy being ignored when you ask a question, this is a great place to dine. The food is acceptable, whereas the service can be uncooperative or dismissive. The prices are very reasonable.
