Haven’t ordered Pizza Hut in Years. GREW Up on Pizza Hut; then the quality of pizza got bad. Ordered online, got some boneless wings, fries and a pizza. Delicious! Glad I tried their pizza again. Guy running the place was super nice. Said pizza would be done in 15 minutes (which I couldn’t believe) and was waiting for me when I got there… bout 13 minutes. Going back for more

I am writing this as I am still in their parking lot! This location has gone above and beyond to make this mom of 3 come home with pizza 2 hours later than it was supposed to be delivered. I had an issue with another location with an order placed 2 hours ago for delivery. Long story short my card was charged, delivery was never made, and that original location was closed after driving to the location because they weren’t answering their phones. I called my kids to tell them we weren’t having pizza and they were not happy for they were excited for Friday Pizza night like we always do. I called this Val Vista location crying and stressed and spoke with Savannah. She was patient throughout my crying on the phone and explains what happened and I just wanted to make sure their systems were working and I can place an order. I didn’t want to lose out on my money again. Savannah, took my order over the phone and was very kind a did not charge us for it (yes I still did provide her an email proof of my original order from the other location just so she knew I was telling the truth, I even provided a picture of a sign that was on the other locations doors). Upon going inside I spoke with David he was very kind and understanding and told us it would be just a few more minutes so him and Taylor can finish up our order. I was not expecting them to give us our order for free my intent when contacting them was to still be the mom who keeps pizza fridays going and just make sure they can indeed get us our pizza. But Savannah gifting us the order free of charge from their location and David’s kind customer service even showing us the order before leaving, and Taylor helping making sure the pizza was being made really made my family’s night! It doesn’t matter where you work or how old you are kindness, compassion, and great customer service goes a long way. I hope that Pizza Hut higher UP sees this review and give kudos, raise, or some kind if token of appreciation for Savannah, David, and Taylor! Thank you guys again and from now on I will drive to Val Vista location to get a carryout! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!

I don’t know what needs to change, but something does. First off, this Detroit Style pizza looks NOTHING like the commercial! Second, it came soooo doughy and under cooked that now I have to put this in the oven to finish it! Sauce is everywhere, slices are cut so uneven! How hard is it to cut a pizza?! I’ve tried to call the store a few times now to complain, get a refund…SOMETHING…ANYTHING, but no one answers the phone and it just hangs up on me. If I wanted to have my kids make my pizza, I could have done that (and we have, and it comes out better!) *2nd pic is to show you how uneven the slices are.
I didn’t want to have to heat up my whole oven to finish cooking a pizza so I tried to do a few slices in my toaster oven and now there’s cheese everywhere that I need to clean. Unbelievable.

i had a wonderful experience talking with the two young ladies savannah and taylor, they are so welcoming and so kind and they make lovely conversation while staying on top of work and orders; while the store was busy and it seemed overwhelming these two ladies managed the store and customers in a very professional, respectful, and friendly manner.

The older guy working last night 12/15/24… Was so awesome! He was running behind and was so nice and efficient and kind. Un Frazzled! I really appreciated the quality of service. I’d rather have late pizza, if it’s still good…. Than Bad Pizza! I also think he should be employee of the month. I noticed the frame and he really deserves to be up there. The pizza wasn’t fully cooked, so I had to put it back in the oven for 10 minutes because it was falling apart in the middle when we tried to serve it. I contacted corporate, and six days later, I received an email from someone I assume represents the store. However, it was just a standard “sorry” message with a promise to share the feedback. While I understand that mistakes can happen and I’ve had good pizza from this store before, the lack of care and failure to offer any form of compensation have convinced me not to return. If I wanted to cook my own pizza, I’d go to Papa Murphy’s.

Ordered twenty minutes in advance as recommend by the website, go in and tell them pickup under my name, they say it’s not ready yet. I sit down in one of their horrible chairs, and wait five minutes watching them do nothing, and ask them to check again. Still no. They continue you doing nothing and I ask one more time, and they confirm it’s been there the whole time. Utter incompetence.
