I’ve been wanting to visit Leilani Asian Fusion since they opened, and it did not disappoint! Every dish offered layers of flavor and texture, from our Shiitake Dumplings appetizer to the unique Land and Sea Maki Roll. If you like dense, flavorful desserts, don’t miss the Matcha Lava Cake with Strawberry Sauce. Our dining experience was relaxed and unrushed, and our server, Wil, made excellent recommendations and conversation. His service made out evening truly special and we can’t wait for our next vidit. We’ve already chosen cocktails and dishes to try next!

My wife, son, and I visited Leilani on Friday, and we were thoroughly impressed! We enjoyed a variety of dishes, including ribs, skirt steak, fried rice, sushi, shrimp, and soup, along with some delicious drinks. Each dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented.
Our waiter, Ronnie, provided outstanding service. He took the time to explain the restaurant’s concept, double-checked our order to ensure accuracy, and checked in on us multiple times to make sure we were happy with everything.
The only minor downside was that I had to ask for a menu instead of it being offered upfront (no phones at dinner table), and they had run out of charred edamame, which we were looking forward to trying. But honestly, these were very small inconveniences compared to how fantastic everything else was. Thankfully Ronnie’s demeneor helped.
The food, ambiance, service, and location were all spot on. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

Be patient, they are still learning the ropes but this place has great potential. The flavor of the food was very good and the servers were great. Apologies go a long way. We did have to wait a total of 35 min due to a full house but we enjoyed drinks at the bar and weren’t in a hurry. We ordered the miso soup which was too salty, I didn’t like it but everything else was sooo sooo good and made up for it. Had the flank steak: full of flavor and cooked perfectly, the grilled edamame: the chili sauce was a great complement and couldn’t stop eating it, the adobo fried rice: the egg mixed in was the perfect texture and full of flavor, lumpia: perfect size and great dipping sauce, and the Asian street corn had the perfect blend of spices to round off our meal. Oh and can’t forget they have a downstairs lounge with a speakeasy vibe. Cant wait to be back.

The atmosphere in Leilani was sophisticated and refined, which was supplemented by the hosts and servers, who were corteuous and attentive, yet personable and charismatic. The food was served fresh and hot, but more than that, it was presented eloquently and one can tell that the chefs gave great attention to their art. The mocktails, Satoris Dream and Midnight Mori, while contrasting in flavor, created a soiree of delightful tango on my tongue. one having a prominent vanilla taste with notes of citrussy orange, and the other with high sour notes complimented with the dark, sweet blackberry tang! Shout out to Josh and Will for the fantastic service!

We are so lucky to have Leilani in downtown Aurora! The food is outstanding and the drinks are just as good. LOVE the honey walnut chicken and the matcha lava cake! The Forbidden Myth cocktail is excellent and our kids love the boba. It’s a beautiful space as well. Don’t forget the Forbidden City lounge downstairs!

The food was okay. Nothing came out particularly hot. Flavors were fine but nothing particularly stood out. The decor was nice. The cocktails were decent. The ube bread pudding was really just a ube glaze on top of bread pudding. It wasn’t really incorporated. The strawberries didn’t really add anything to the dish either. It was fine, but probably not high on the list to visit again.
