This is my first review of this Gioninos, but we have been getting pizza here for years. It’s been a few months since we have gotten their pizza and I was surprisingly disappointed. One pizza was white sauce with bacon and it was great, as expected. The second pizza was red sauce without cheese on half bc my wife can do dairy. There was hardly any sauce on the pizza and it didn’t have much taste. Very disappointing. Not our normal experience. I will give more stars if we eat here again and have a better experience. Maybe this was just a bad night bc in the last it has been better.

Pizza was ok. We are trying to find a new spot since our favorite pizza place recently closed. One positive was that our pizza was piping hot but other than that it wasn’t anything special. I wouldn’t say it was bad but it wasn’t very good either. There weren’t enough toppings and the toppings on there were chopped so small that you couldn’t really taste them. My last bite tasted really gross, I don’t know if it was a bad tomato or what but I couldn’t eat anymore after that. I also thought it was pretty expensive.

We’ve ordered from this pizza shop regularly and always tip the delivery drivers 20%, so this was a disappointing experience. Our order was incorrect, and while the shop did admit the mistake, the initial resolution offered was only $3.
About 10 minutes later, the company called back and offered to place us on a “discount list” for $15 off a future order. While we appreciate the follow-up, the discount can only be used by calling in the order and not through the app, which is how we typically order. When they called back, they were not apologetic and came across as somewhat rude.
Mistakes happen, but the way they’re handled matters. The overall resolution felt inconvenient and underwhelming for loyal, repeat customers.

Traveling all over I get to try local food establishments regularly. I decided to write this review because there were many things that stood out impressive for me and I felt compelled that everyone should know the service I received this evening. First time ordering from this pizza shop and I have to commend everyone, including the owners. I called up and the lady on the phone was very polite and helped me come up with my order and was very patient with my lack of knowledge. I have been to this shopping center, but it has been years. WHAT a FACELIFT! It looks great back here! I go in and am greeting by two lovely young ladies who were smiles and very pleasant. One of the employees walked past me and said “Hello” They verified my order and brought out my pizza. I drove 15 minutes into Jackson Twp to my hotel room and when I got there, the PIZZA WAS STILL HOT!! Impressed. The overall look of the pizza was great too, the toppings appeared uniform throughout and every piece got attention from all the toppings, definitely not what I am used to. Overall, the whole experience was awesome. And the two young ladies up front, they did a wonderful job dealing with the loads of people in line! Was told 25 minutes on the phone. Showed up 25 minutes later. Paid and staff member said our wings would be out in 5 minutes. 20 minutes later we asked again. Staff member said 4 more minutes. 10 minutes later we finally got our food. Approximately 10 other people were served during our wait time. Totally unacceptable. This is by far the worst gioninos in the area. Will never order from this location again.
