My go-to coffee shop when I want consistent coffee and cozy studying! Not super expensive, GREAT vegan cold brew, and lots of seating. I always come here early to make sure I get a spot as it is pretty popular. Never tried the pastries but friends say it’s good. I like the lattes, nothing too crazy! If you have a sweet tooth get the vegan cold brew, it’s pre made and chilled. And the staff is always really helpful and friendly! Love this place.

Lineage Coffee Roasting is a fantastic spot for coffee lovers!
The vibe is cozy and modern, and the coffee is top-notch, smooth, rich, and expertly crafted.
I loved their Modern American espresso! The staff in-person is friendly and knowledgeable.
However, their social media colleague was surprisingly curt, don’t disturb the artist while working.
Still, the barista team makes it worth a visit!

Lineage is my favorite spot in the Oviedo area, especially for the proximity to UCF campus. The coffee is ALWAYS so good. Doesn’t taste burnt, milked down or anything. Recently my favorite drink is the cinnamon roll latte; like a cozy Christmas night in a cup lol! As for the food it’s average, just on the drier side. The staff is so kind and welcoming! Recommend this spot for anyone visiting or looking for their go to spot!

little thoughts
In terms of the menu, I can only speak on the matcha and food, not the coffee itself, since I stick to those when I go to cafes. My friend got an Americano and she said that was OK but that she’s had better at other places.

The matcha is unsweetened by itself. They have very limited syrup options (only around 5 I think?) and they have no sugar-free syrup options at all. This was a bit disappointing considering that many local cafes (non-chain/corporate) I’ve been to have at least 2 or 3 sugar-free syrups and 8+ regular syrup options.

They have a seasonal menu that consists of 3 drink options that honestly aren’t very good most of the time and feel more like experimental drinks that turned out to be a little too niche for the general palate. Usually the seasonal drinks taste somewhat muddy with the flavor profiles just competing with each other instead of being balanced, but maybe it really is just for the niche palate & what do I know??

Gluten free? Do not go here!!! They literally have only 1 option (the raspberry lemon cake) and it’s practically a dry brick with raspberry-flavored paste (supposed to be a glaze i guess?) and a singular dried lemon slice embedded on top. Even warmed, it is a very dense, dry pastry that leaves a weird aftertaste/mouthfeel.

The one thing I like about this branch is that it has a drive-through and their service is fast. The baristas are very sweet and help you with recommendations if you aren’t sure what to order.

Atmosphere is what you’d expect of a cafe that’s frequented by college students. It’s a lot of people coming to study there for hours, which is fine, but good luck finding an open seat! They have outdoor seating which is nice but not the most comfy.

TLDR: this cafe is good if you want a quick caffeinated drink (they have a drive-through) and if you don’t have any dietary restrictions. Not a good spot for diabetics, anyone watching their sugar intake, and gluten-free people. Good luck finding parking or an open seat, since it’s often very busy with college students.

Usually this place is good but idk what came over their baristas today but this was not a good time. My wife ordered a Large iced matcha drink and large a hot chai tea and she was given two iced drinks instead.

She kindly let the worker know of the mix up but she was given a cold shoulder and didn’t even look up to acknowledge her. It felt weird because they weren’t busy and the baristas were just leaning at the bar chatting and not looking busy at all.

Usually people here are friendly but this was a different vibe and after we got our drinks they tasted awful and with my bill being $30 for two drinks I won’t be coming back and I expected better from Lineage Coffee Roasting.
I left an image of my chai latte to show it tastes more like milk than chai.

I am not a local. My morning routine is a latte with two shots of espresso which I typically make at home. When traveling I find that Starbucks tastes burned as do many other coffee shops. Not lineage!!! Delicious!!!! Perfect!! I didn’t try any of the pastries but they looked and smelled amazing. Definitely worth a stop.

I love Lineage coffee and normally will order a latte or a matcha latte. Today I tried something new it’s a pumpkin spice on cloud and OMG it’s the best pumpkin spice latte I ever had.

Lineage is always a must! Amazing coffee, kind staff and great freshly made pastries. Will always highly recommend! Lots of parking and a plus that there’s a drive thru when in a hurry some days.

This shop had been on my list to try, since I liked their location in colonial. I wanted to try and see the different pastries and I sure got to try a delicious salted honey cruffin!

The coffee was a bit acidic and did not taste as smooth as the one I had at their other location. I had a latte with oatmilk but was a but disappointed.

The baked goods are a hit and this location has plenty of space inside and outside to work or just enjoy some coffee.

This is just really an amazing place to get quality espresso drinks and coffee. They have a variety of pour overs, single origin coffees, whole beans for purchase, and much more. This new location is also incredible due to the fact they have an on site bakery!! Everything I have eaten here is awesome! I’m a big fan of the cookie butter croissant! You’ll find a number of nooks and cozy places to work, study, or simply just enjoy amazing coffee and the outside seating is great too. I love the design of the building along with the incredible staff that are always knowledgeable about anything that you are looking for. Thank you lineage for another incredible place to enjoy my favorite coffee!
