A cute and quaint little spot to eat in a tucked away little town.
The food is colorful and the options are interesting, the location is beautiful and the staff is friendly.
I wasn’t the most thrilled with my biscuit, but the portions were large enough to not think about complaining.

Happened upon this place via the Find Me GF app. I love supporting local restaurants especially farm to fork concepts and ones who cater to food allergies. I have to say the food here is outstanding. Some of the best GF chicken fingers I’ve ever had. I had a great GF meal with no issues and did not get sick afterwards. There are many gluten free items on the menu and they seemed to be very knowledgeable about cross contamination. It’s great to have fried items I can eat and have such delicious results. My husband and friends ordered burgers and breakfast items and all said their food was amazing too. The inside space is small but very cute and quaint. We loved all the vintage decor with plates on the wall reminiscent of our grandmother and great grandmother’s china.

The only negative is the service was a little lacking. Now we are always very patient and cordial with restaurant staff as I have worked in the industry. Our server was unfortunately not very attentive as I had to ask 3 times for more water for the table as the empty bottles of water were removed from our table right as our food arrived but were not replaced. We saw the server(s) going to other tables to refill drinks, bring items, check on the customers, etc. literally walking right past our table without a glance, but didn’t come back to our table. We had to call out to one employee as they walked right by us, and two other times, we had to go up to the front to ask for things we needed after getting over halfway through the meal with no server checking in. We did note some apparent “regulars” who were attended to quickly so maybe we weren’t recognized as locals; however I grew up in Marshall County and visit several times a year so I would hope they’d want return customers no matter where they live.

Who knows, maybe it was just an off day service-wise but just for the food alone, we would absolutely return when we are in the area as it is THAT good. I can definitely recommend this place for an excellent meal.

Oh wow! This little place is just beautiful, and the food is delicious! Yesterday, my husband got The Rachel and he said it was the best chicken tenders he has ever eaten. He also really liked his griddled green beans. I got the Aloha chicken sandwich and it had so much layered flavor! Yummy! And the onion rings were the best I’ve ever had! We got a to go order of sauteed cabbage, collard greens, and smashed potatoes with a corn muffin to eat today, and they were phenomenal as well!! We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

They have moved to their new location and we are so pleased that the quality of the food is still the same! They are now offering gluten free bread! We celebrated our daughter’s birthday tonight and it was so nice to be able to celebrate and not worry about food and having to make decisions or decline dishes! Can’t say enough good about Homecoming and their staff!

Great food and great service! Our daughter has celiac disease and has to eat gluten free. We are thankful all of their fried foods are gluten free. All of our meals were very good! It was our first time eating there and it is counter service so I suggest somewhat knowing what you would like before you get there to make ordering a little easier. Totally recommend them.

Best food in Marshall County, hands down. This isn’t your every day restaurant with subpar food. This food is PHENOMENAL. We eat here often and it never disappoints. The space is cozy, charming and the owner is so very friendly! They have new hours, which we love!

We ended our vacation on a high note at this delightful farm-to-table spot. Our family can’t resist breakfast at any hour, and their menu had our mouths watering from the get-go. I mean, how could anyone pass up something called a “warm hug”? It’s a homemade biscuit smothered in chocolate gravy—pretty much breakfast heaven if you ask me.

My son and I couldn’t wait to dive into the “green eggs and ham,” and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The mix of grits, collard greens, ham, and eggs was so flavorful, it practically sang to us. And our server was absolutely wonderful—thoughtful, friendly, and somehow always there with what we needed before we even knew we needed it. He also gave us the space to just relax and soak up the moment. Talk about perfect service!

Cute place. Food was good. I got a burger and fries. The burger was well seasoned. They actually lost our ticket and we were waiting for an hour. We were just about to speak up and then our waiter came up and told us what happened.

They comped our full meal. I would like to go back and try their chocolate gravy and biscuits. I would definitely go back. I think this is probably a good place to have brunch as well.

We eat here often and have never had a single bad meal or experience. It can be a little pricey compared to other local dining options, but the food is absolutely AMAZING. The new location at The Glover is awesome and the vibe accommodates everyone! It’s charming, eclectic, quaint but super cool all at the same time. There’s just nothing else like it in Guntersville! We love it!!

Nice folks, super cute place. We had the buckwheat pancakes (first time I had buckwheat – not a fan), eggs, bacon (delish), tea (really good), and smashed potatoes (loved). We’ll be coming back!

Had the fried and onion rings, a salad, and a burger. The fries and onion rings were great. They were perfectly cooked and tasted so good. The salad was nice and fresh but the ranch wasn’t very flavorful. I loved the texture of the dressing but it just didn’t seem to have enough of the seasonings. The burger was a bit overdone and very salty but the beef seemed to be of good quality and the toppings were fresh and in good proportion. Would try again just wouldn’t choose the burger. Service was excellent.
