This is my first time here and it was a great experience. The customer service was good and the staff was great. And I experienced them working well together. Cooking the food and getting it out to the customers, they made us feel like family. I recommend that you come out and enjoy the food it definitely has a family vibe. Also while you wait you can go inside the market and shop around while your food is being prepared. It felt like I was in a mini Farmers Market best sold local Meats, snacks, drinks, candles

Went to lunch, with my mother. She chose the spot. It was very unique and very tasty!! A little confused as to where it was located. It’s in the one big, brick building. Parking was convenient and easy to navigate around… My mother had something (I’m sorry, I can’t remember what it was!) but it was sitting in a LOT of oil, pictures on the right. The taste was to die for, but the oil was rather overwhelming and she couldn’t finish eating her rice. We would eat here again… we would just ask for “easy on the oil”. I had the dish with peanut chicken, picture in the left. Wish I knew how to make it myself! We also liked how you ordered and paid. Grab a menu, go to check out and pay and take a seat. They’ll bring it to your table to enjoy! ☺️☺️☺️

This place is very unique. You arrive, and there are no clear signs that they are in the building.

When we arrived, we noticed chicken just sitting out on the counter. The person who was standing near the chicken walked over and proceeded to ring us out. Thought they would go back and put it away the chicken, but it sat out where anyone could touch it for the hour we were in the restaurant.

This day, there were out of peanut sauce, so no peanut chicken. I ordered the chicken and mushroom bowl with rice.

When I asked about a drink, they only had 5 seltzer waters in the cooler. They let me know I could go next door and buy a drink. Luckily, we got there in time, after bout their drink, 10 minutes later the store closed.

Seating is very, very limited. Has 4 tables and more of a take out place.

Most of the menu could take the chicken out for vegetarians.

Edit: 3rd visit. Burger changed. It’s still very good, but OMG the Street Beef.

2nd visit was just as good. Adding photos.

Excitingly delicious fare in a unique space attached to a great little market.
There were many other items on the menu that I coveted. It was not easy to decide. I opted for the Chipotle Blue Cheese Burger and it blew me away. The burger almost had a crispy shell, the blue cheese was quality, and the seasoning was outstanding. It was so good that I can’t stop thinking about it. I have already planned a return trip and I live in Pittsburgh!
The inside seating is not large and rather odd. I did not check out the outdoor seating as it was way too hot out to consider it.

A very layed back atmosphere makes it feel like you’re at the main food hall of a summer campground in the best way. A small but diverse menu of higher quality local scored foods like burgers and bowls. The Angus burger was cooked well and a good size with good quality toppings and the fries were the longest I’ve ever had.

Such a great discovery on our way to Erie. My wife and I always like to try different restaurants with an alternative menu, and this was a great found. It has a super informal restaurant setting attached to the local marketplace. Though the dishes combine a unique variety of ingredients, they are served like a Brazilian ready made meal which was super cool for us.

Hole in the wall restaurant attached to the market place. Very healthy options here with vegan and vegetarian food. I had the steak lion. No salt or pepper seen. Furniture didn’t match at all. Alternative music playing. Definitely a fit for young college folks. The flavors were different. Quinoa needed flavor that was placed under the greens sauce and meat. Steak was not as tender, but slightly chewy. Not many healthy options in town, so this would work. Plastic wear here, but plate decorative. Might be back to try other menu options. No diet drinks available, just tap water. Not sure about dessert.

An absolutely scrumptious, healthy, and ultimately very flavorful series of bowls being served here. House made kombucha on tap really seals the deal, and outside seating can be easily taken advantage of when the weather is nice. Main root sodas are also great to see. Place feels like home, with mismatched dishes, a grungy yet clean atmosphere, and thoughtful ingredients. Strongly recommend.

My husband and I stopped here with our two small children on a whim when the restaurant we wanted to celebrate my birthday at was closed. This restaurant was new to us and well over an hour from where we live.

The almost 5 star reviews, the food photos, and the menu with a wide array of ethnic food won us over. This was the best choice and I’m happy the day worked out this way so we tried something new.

We weren’t sure where the restaurant was located, as we followed Google maps so we walked around the building it’s in and finally saw the entrance at the back of the building. You are able to access the restaurant through the market as well. There was metered parking all around the building. Parking was $.50 for 2 hours.

The environment was pretty laid back, you order at the counter using menus that are located to the left table near the ordering station. The seating is limited, there were two table (one large and one small), two tall tables with barstools, and a couch. There was outdoor seating as well to accommodate more people when the weather is nice.

They offer some bottled and can sodas and kombucha on tap (there were 2 flavors). They allowed me to sample one before committing to a flavor, which is so helpful! My husband and I couldn’t decide on just one meal each so we ordered 5 different meals to sample and share. It was such a great decision. All our meals totaled $72, which isn’t a bad price. The meals were reasonably priced, full of flavor, and a nicely sized portion. I wanted to try their soup and their house made kimchi, but they were out of both.

We ordered the street beef #1 bowl and the cashew pineapple chicken bowl – both recommended by the employee. We also ordered the lions mane crab cakes, truffle cheesesteak sammy, and the steak lion bowls. My top two favorites were the crab cakes and the cashew pineapple bowl. My husband loved the steak lion bowl and truffle cheesesteak (while we love baguettes sometimes they become a little much for a sandwich as they are harder to chew and thick). There wasn’t something I tried that I didn’t like. When we go back again, I will be trying different dishes as there were so many filled with all my favorite things.

The food was served hot and it all had so much flavor. You can watch your food being made as it’s all one open space. They source their produce locally and offer recycling options. Food options like this seem to be far and few in my experience and in these smaller towns, so hats off to the owner(s) for trying something different and excelling at it.

I’ll be telling all my friends and family that this is a must check out spot!
