The worst samosa I have had! Clearly the dough used for it wasn’t the right one. It was dripping with oil, the oil kind of seeped in through and it was completely undercooked from inside.

I was walking through the Portland Saturday Market today and happened upon the Best Taste of India food cart and had to try the Samosa.
I ordered the 2 Vegetable Samosa and so loved the freshness and the flavors. Fantastic crispy outside filled with potatoes and peas in a mild Indian sauce. They were so yummy good with the dipping sauce that I had to use a fork. Amazing.

By far some of the best curry I’ve ever tasted. The guy asks you how spicy and I of course got the hottest one, Omg!!!!!! Spicy but delicious. Highly recommend if you ever in Portland.

Just happened to come across their place while walking around downtown. There are several food carts around, so it was a tough choice but ended up going here. Wanted to try something else, but their special was a $10 Chicken lunch with Tikka masala, samosa, rice, dal and naan. It’s a really good deal and the quantity was sufficient. The taste was amazing! I understand why they’d give us just white rice but I wish it was biryani rice. The curries were pretty quite good, and loved dipping the bread in them. The people working there were friendly too!

All food served hot, service good.
Chicken Tikka Masala was a weird shade of yellow rather than the usual red from tomatoes and cream. No significant flavor, and tastes excessively creamy. Chicken meat tacky to the tooth, quite overdone. Sister in law said Amy’s frozen curries tasted better. TJs as well.
Garlic Naan is reasonable. A bit thin, more like a tortilla. Taste was good.
Rice well prepared.
Overall would not return for the value received.

Ordered the Chicken Goa Curry, it was excellent! Serving size was great, very satisfying. Will surely come back on next visit to try more of their other dishes.

Absolutely LOVE the food and mango lassi, BUT they’re RARELY open when we go despite their hours saying they’re open. The first time I noticed it was during the holidays, but I just excused it because a lot of places were closed during the holidays but now in August and it never changes. It is a consistent issue. One time their window was open slightly and we asked if they were open, they said no, and then close the window/door. So we’re very confused. They’re very nice too when it’s open but wth? If you get the chance, and they are ACTUALLY open, I highly suggest saag paneer and mango lassi.

I am currently sitting in the food truck park/beer garden. If I eat any more I will potentially die. This is the best Indian food I have ever consumed in my entire life and I have had a lot of Indian food. I am going to cry. I ordered paneer tikka masala with rice, garlic naan, and a rose drink. I am devastated that I live three hours away because I would camp out here every day if I could. There were cucumber slices in the rice!!! I’m not kidding, I need to emphasize how good this food is. My compliments, praise, and tears of joy to the chef. Thank you so much for this incredible eating experience.

My only complaint about this place is that once I start eating I cannot stop until it is all gone. After a hard day at work, my mind and body are always restored. I’m so happy to have found this cart ❤️

Got the chicken Gao curry (made w coconut milk) and it was DIVINE. Perfect sauce to meat ratio. Could probably have split it into 2 meals. Appreciate how even at closing time – I was their last order around 8:30pm – it was perfect, juicy, and flavorful. Appreciated the cucumber slices. It was lovely to eat it in perfect weather with Lofi music playing around us.
