Read and believe the negative reviews. Don’t waste your time or money here. Staff at the door and manager gives zero Fs about customer service. Most of the staff were dismissive, rude and unprofessional. It took 1 hour to get the takeout order for pizza and fries. If you tried to ask about your order, the answer was “We’re short in the kitchen and we’ll get the food to you when we do” That’s all they said to each customer when they asked about when the food would come. Terrible customer service and food was mediocre. I should have just asked for a refund and go eat elsewhere if I knew it would take over an hour for apps. The owner doesn’t seem to reply to reviews so clearly they don’t care either. There are better places to eat in the area.

First of all, I want to thank John our server .He was excellent and saved this review.
I sat on the patio on an amazing May day. Beautiful scenery.
I ordered Coors light draft. It was very warm. Then I ordered a bud light bottle.still warm.
We ordered chicken nachos with cheese.
Came with no cheese uf it did we didn’t see it.
John quickly fixed that problem
The Nachos were great after our server took care of them.
Ok, food ,warm beer ,my wife’s white sangria was good she said.
John and the atmosphere saved them from a worse review.
Overall you still have to come here for the atmosphere and ask for John as your server

Food is amazing!!! Highly recommend the chowder, lobster ravioli and seafood platter! We ended up going here twice during our trip. The patio is great if the weather is nice, the only reason I have it 4 stars is the music is a little loud especially inside. Definitely a family friendly place!

Solid choice for last minute dinner on the water. Nothing fancy but Grilled chicken breast dinner is a healthy and hearty portion. Super basic food, but right on the water in the center of the action. Great outdoor patio and attentive service.

We first went to the place with the intention of sitting at the bar, but once we got there, the place was so loud, and everyone was talking over everyone that we could not stay inside. So we ended up sitting outside. We ordered some drinks and ro eat. we ordered the clam chowder and fried calamari. So far, this is the worst clam chowder we’ve ever eaten. And we’ve had a lot in different states. This one tasted like flour and bacon, not even a little of clam flavor in it. The service wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. The location is great, but we definitely wouldn’t visit again.

Wrapping up a hot day with a fantastic meal at Tia’s Seafood Restaurant in Boston was the perfect way to end our adventure on the Freedom Trail. After a day of exploring history, our group was famished and craving some fresh seafood. Tia’s did not disappoint.
The ambiance at Tia’s was casual yet classy, with a lively atmosphere that welcomed both locals and tourists. We started with a round of their famous clam chowder, which was creamy and filled with tender clams. The main courses were a seafood lover’s dream: succulent lobster rolls, perfectly grilled scallops, and crispy fish and chips. Each bite was a reminder of why Boston is known for its seafood.
Service at Tia’s was top-notch, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. We enjoyed our meal with a view of the waterfront, and the gentle evening breeze was the cherry on top. If you find yourself in Boston, Tia’s Seafood Restaurant is a must-visit, especially after a day on the Freedom Trail. It’s the ideal spot to relax, savor delicious seafood, and soak in the Boston vibes.

If you’re looking for a fine dinning experience, I would go somewhere else. But if you’re looking to grab some simple food and drink, I would give this place a chance. I have only been there for a sit down meal once with my dad and kids; that experience was great except for one factor…the music. I don’t know how the music is controlled but it was not appropriate nor fitting for the lunch rush of tourists, many with children. Not only was the music filled with expletives and sexual references, it was loud and hard to ignore. Nevertheless, service was great and food was exactly what I expected. Had the the buffalo chicken Caesar wrap and loved it. My dad really liked the clam chowda.

You don’t have to be good with a location like this and Tia’s makes sure they don’t put any more effort than needed into their operation. From the filthy bathroom to the fountain with no water in it, from the credit card machine that wasn’t working to the eight or nine servers who constantly congregated at the hostess stand, nothing about Tia’s was done well.
We stopped in because they had outdoor seating alongside Christopher Columbus Park, on the edge of the North End and just steps from Quincy Market. The location is really fantastic.
We got a couple of cocktails and an order of fries to snack on. The cocktails were fine but came in plastic cups like we were at a ball game. The fries were decent.
Service was painfully slow and after we finished our round of drinks no one came by. We never got napkins or silverware. We probably didn’t need silverware but I would have liked a napkin, and maybe another drink if offered.
We had to hunt down our waitress to get our bill, but then since their computers were down, we couldn’t even get a real bill. The waitress even said “I don’t know what the tax is.” They wanted to take a copy of our credit card and bill us later, but no way. Luckily we had cash.
I get why people go here, but it’s just sad they don’t put effort in and make an awesome place. I guess when you have lots of tourist dollars flowing through, you don’t have to worry.

Tia is laid back restaruant with calm atmosphere on the waterfront. The food was really good. The chicken barbecue flatbread was delicious. The flatbread was chicken, barbecue sauce, cheese, and onion. It was great bite. The regular fries were yummy fried goodness with perfect amount of salt. My co workers loved the truffle fries too. The service was overall really good. The only downside was the bathrooms werent clean enough. They were filfthy.

Tias was largely empty. The host at the door was apathetic, would not respond to a hello. He never said a word to us. The waitress was nice however, and helpful. My grilled chicken tacos were cold and served with tomato mush instead of salsa. I wasn’t expecting great tacos in Boston, but also wasn’t expecting such awful food otherwise. My wife got the scrod and chips, which was good. I don’t recommend this place unless you can’t get in elsewhere.
