If you’re looking for the kind of breakfast spot that feels like home the minute you walk in, Manny’s Biscuits & Gravy is it. The food is absolutely amazing. The food is rich, flavorful, and hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had. Every meal tastes like it’s made with care, not rushed out of a kitchen.

What truly sets Manny’s apart, though, is the people. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to see you. You’re not just another customer here, you’re treated like family.

And Manny himself? An outstanding owner who clearly pours his heart into this place. You can feel his passion in the food, the atmosphere, and the way he treats both guests and employees.

This is the kind of restaurant you can’t wait to come back to and once you try it, you’ll understand why. Highly recommend!

Holy Cow Batman!!!! This place is the best breakfast in town by far. The Chilaquiles Verdes is better than I’ve had in Mexico. Biscuits and gravy are bringing me back to my southern roots. WOW. Get your buns down here for the best food in West Chicago!!!!!

Best breakfast place in West Chicago!! I have live in West Chicago for 2 years. Went to this place for breakfast for the 1st time with my daughter. Had great food and the portions were generous. Our waitress was sweet and made perfect recommendations. Manny and his family run it well. Manny is the head cook behind the cash register. I had the chilaquiles with steak and green sauce. My daughter had the avocado toast with sweet onions and apricot jam. The avocado was piled high and the apricot jam was delicious with the sweet onions. Highly recommend you try this place.

My wife had the red velvet french toast and LOVED it (see picture).

I had the full order of biscuits and gravy (with two eggs) and it is easily my favorite I can get anywhere. The gravy is wonderful and has a nice little kick to it. The biscuits are wonderful and soft.

Also, a guy behind us said he had the “best Cuban sandwich he’s ever had in his life.”

I highly recommend Manny’s. Grab some breakfast here, you won’t regret it!

We had the make-your-own skillet and Eggs Benedict. Both were excellently prepared and flavorful. Can’t beat the price or quickness of the kitchen and server. This is a family owned business and the owner is the chef, so there’s not skimping on quality or quantity. They go out of their way to make you happy.

The breakfast was really good here! Our service was also really good. The young lady was helpful, friendly and kept our waters filled. Each breakfast plate was done to perfection and the portions were plentiful.

I just realized that I ate so quickly that I forgot to take photos! The first most notable take-away from our visit is the owners and staff – delightful and friendly, and the servers are attentive without being intrusive. Varied and complete food selections were delicious and well priced, so we’ll return again to try different options. My avocado toast was bursting with fresh mashed avocado, and my husband had the cheddar biscuits and gravy (among other options!). The biscuits are fluffy and moist and he enjoyed the sausage gravy as well, which had a little spice to it. Everything is prepared fresh so sit back and relax while you enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. Family owned so let’s support this neighborhood hidden gem!

Ill keep it real I was a pig and ate both these meals in one sitting. Every review I read for this place said these were the two best things and happens to be my two favorite breakfast meals. From the moment the biscuts and gravy touched the table I knew I was in for a treat after devouring both meals. All I have to say is Bravo to this place for making me the happiest man on earth in that moment. Any time I am near this place I will be eating here and I encourage the rest of you reading this to do the same.

The coffee had a strong, pleasant aroma and a flavor that felt rich and smooth. The bitterness was balanced, making it enjoyable to sip slowly. The staff was friendly and quick, adding to the positive experience. The finish carried a warmth that lingered nicely. Overall, a cup worth remembering.
