Cute little food truck behind a gas station with outdoor tables to enjoy the weather.
We had the pork and dumplings.
The pork roast was served with a side of pickled cucumbers that you’d get at your Grandmas house on a Sunday if you were from the Philippines. Very tasty.
Unfortunately, we weren’t fans of the dumplings.
The owners were super nice and appreciative that we were there. Very happy people.
Would go back if in the area ✅

One of the best gems I’ve come across in Bham. The adobo was a specimen of balance in portion and taste, culminating in a highly satisfying meal. The pickled salad was tuned to perfection, not too sour. The pork was soft and tender. And the rice was perfect and savory. This friendly food truck fills a gap in the local food scene with authentic Filipino street food.

Lovely little food truck parked behind the Vulcan gas station. Tables, chairs, and an awning offer seating for those who wish to eat on sight. The owners are amazingly friendly, and the food was ready almost immediately. We ordered two 2-chicken-skewer meals, and they were fantastic! Pineapple was fresh, and the chicken was grilled perfectly. Their menu on the ground does not always match online, so be ready to be flexible (and call if you’re trying to order ahead).

Hands down the best teriyaki chicken I’ve had in a long time. Amazing rice can’t wait to go again and try the pork adobo. I recommend getting a little extra of the sauce she makes it is so good.

Probably the only place to get Filipino food in BHM right now. The folks are really friendly and accommodating. The food is awesome and priced really well, serving size is on the bigger size. Their pork adobo is legit! Despite it being a food truck, their spot has a few picnic tables with umbrellas and a big grassy field to sit on if you prefer it that way.

Amazing street feed! If you looking for a great meal go here. Chicken kabobs are the way to go – the sauce was amazing.

Just went for the first time today, and this place did not disappoint. I had to order the chicken kabobs because they had run out of the adobo, but it was so delicious! Juicy and delicious. We also went on Saturday which is dumpling day! SOO good. Will definitely be back for that adobo, 100% recommend!

I’ve been coming since last year and the owners were very friendly and respectful. And the food was great in taste, presentation,at an affordable price. This past Saturday I went by and was glad that they were back open since the winter.I purchase several meals for myself and nieces and nephew. And they enjoyed it.Not that I expected any thing different since I know first hand how good the food is.CONTINUE SERVING THAT GOOD FILIPINA BARBECUE

Small menus are great when their items are really solid, and these are. Both the pork adobo and the chicken skewers are delicious and feature that distinctive Filipino tang. The grill on the “back porch” of the trailer is unique, and you know the kababs are always fresh off the grill.

I was on my way to the park on Saturday and saw a sign on the side of the road saying Filipino BBQ 2 miles —–>
Immediately flipped a U-turn, because I haven’t had Filipino food since I got to Alabama 13 years ago. It was delicious! And decently priced! I got two of the biggest kebobs I’ve ever had. Going back next weekend (it’s a food truck that’s only up on weekends) for the pork adobo.
