Very yummy and the size is decent, good place for drinking beer, but so bad we don’t drink beer. A bit disappointed of the banana pancake, the menu shows it’s the same style as what they sell on the street in Thailand but the restaurant made into a different style, the skin is not crispy enough and the banana was cut too big.

My partner remembered that this was the first restaurant I was able to treat because of its affordable prices. Located in Footscray, we came back to try it again and the coconut pudding with ice cream was the highlight if you’ve got a sweet tooth, this is something you can’t miss!The server’s customer service was also really nice and made the experience memorable.

Massaman Curry was an ok specimen. Not a big fan of the dish itself but this one was respectable as massaman. goes. Creamy, rich, thick. Meat was tender enough. Rice was separate to the dish at an additional cost.

Food is affordable and they offer a lot of varieties. The toilet is well-maintained and clean as well. The only drawback is that the dining area is quite narrow, where only one person can access the corridors at a time. Servers were pleasant and was always smiling. This will be our go to place if ever we stop by area.

Good Thai place in the area, more authentic than others. The food can get really spicy but I love it. Good portion too.
The Pad Thai is actually not overly sweet like from other places, tom yum soup has a great balance of spiciness and sourness, curry is good too, the duck curry is a little sweeter than other curries though. The roti chicken wrap is our new favourite.

If you’re on the hunt for Thai food in Footscray that serves curry as a soup, then this spot might catch your eye. I was excited to try it, especially since it boasts a 4-star rating. But maybe I ordered the wrong dishes because, wow, what a disappointment!
The red duck curry? Sauce was as runny as water, with barely any flavor, and I only got three tiny slices of duck. Was this a main or an appetizer? The beef massaman? Tasted okay, but it came with just three cubes of beef surrounded by a small farm of potatoes and carrots. The pad see ew? It was… fine. Nothing special—didn’t see fireworks or angels, just noodles. The mango sticky rice looks good in the photo but lacks the coconut flavour and dry.
Now, my friends devoured their pork/mong ping and said it was “okay,” but that’s the highest praise you’ll get here, The only saving grace For that alone, is what they ordered. But would I come back? Absolutely not.

The foods are great and delicious especially the raw prawns , 100%taste so fresh with the Thai street food sauces. Very good for the summer hot day.
The grill pork is so yummy and juicy not over cooked the meat like some restaurant cooked so dry and so off.

Visited Issan on a Sunday to have some lunch. We ordered the tom yum goong soup which was very flavourful ( lemongrass, kafir lime). For mains we had the stir fried pork which came along with a serving of rice( the pork was crispy and juicy). To end it we had the pudding with ice cream( definitely worth trying). Overall the service and food is good(prices – affordable) . This place is worth visiting if you are around Footscray.

Love this place! Not too many Thai restaurants around here, this is one of few in this part of town. The chicken fried rice was very tasty and not greasy at all, but just slightly glossy making the dish look so appetising. Also enjoyed a beautiful pad thai that is not overwhelmingly sweet like they serve at other places. Ended the meal with some vegetable curry puffs that came out piping hot. Generous portions and friendly service, A+!
