Chrissy’s is more a theme of a local pub. 1/2 is a small bar with some gaming and the other 1/2 is their restaurant. We wanted to try them for dinner. The dining area offers tables and booths with many tv screens to watch sports and news.
They are very friendly, service with a smile and aim to please everyone. They offer daily drink and meal specials at a decent price.
We tried the fish dinners which come with fries, hush puppies and a little coleslaw. I really liked that the condiments were individually packaged both ketchup and tartar sauce.
The food entrees came out piping hot and were plated nicely. French fries, both beer batter and breaded fish weren’t a bit greasy and no oil was on the plate.
The hush puppies were a nice touch lightly seasoned. The cole slaw had a unique touch with pineapple in it. It sounds weird but it was a nice accompaniment to the rest of the plate and tasted good. I wish I could give the fish a better score as it was delicious but I felt the portion of 3 thin finger type pieces could have been better.
Even short staffed they apologized and did their best to check in on the tables.

I have visited Chrissy’s Gaming Bar and Grill twice. The first time, I was genuinely impressed. It felt like a great place to hang out and watch football on Sundays. The atmosphere was enjoyable, and everything ran smoothly — even during halftime, the channel and volume were left unchanged, allowing everyone to enjoy the full experience.
Unfortunately, my second visit, this past Sunday for the Super Bowl, was very different. At halftime, the volume on all the TVs was turned down, except for one that wasn’t even showing the Super Bowl. It was disappointing, especially considering the halftime show is a major part of the event. Only after several customers complained was the volume turned back on — and even then, it was after the halftime show had already started.
What made the situation worse was that no explanation was given to patrons about why the change was made. The inconsistency compared to my first visit was noticeable and confusing. Sadly, the experience left me feeling unwelcome, as if diversity was not embraced or valued.
Because of this, I chose to leave and will not be returning. I truly hope the management reflects on this and works toward creating a more inclusive and respectful environment for all guests.

What an absolutely dumpster fire of a business. The owner and management were displaying absolutely disgusting behavior in front of minors as well. The food was basic you can get better quality at any other tavern pizza place. It also took over an hour for them to serve the catering that was preordered. They up charged ridiculously not only from the original quoted prices but also from their own menu prices. The owner doesn’t know how to respectfully conduct business like an adult, she was getting loud, ignorant, and confrontational towards paying guests who’s calmly and simply asking for an explanation on why the bill was upcharged and the owner even went as far as clapping her hands in a gentleman’s face disrespectfully. What a gross display of unprofessionalism. The only positive at this place was the two young servers their energy was the only positive in this establishment.

What a trashy business, the owners need to have higher standards from the service staff. Was there for a birthday party and the server overcharged what was quoted, and then got nasty and rude when asked about the receipt. The person I assume was the manager said “whatever your server said” and passed the buck on even acknowledging the situation. Shame on all of you. That server should be fired, the definition of unprofessional. And that manager needs training.

Really nice place to have lunch and drinks. I haven’t visited it at night yet, but so far it’s my favorite spot for lunch in Carol Stream! Food has nice presentation and Mike, whom I am not sure whether he’s the server or thr manager, does a great job at serving and is totally cool! (BTW, my online rings were almost finished when I took my pic, lol, the portion is bigger than that).

Can’t say nothing wrong about this local business/bar. Mike and all the other bartenders are on top of your needs and the food menu is very ample for all the distinct pallets. My favorite is the philly steak.
