I guess I look like some sort of free ice cream sample bandit. I’ll begin with saying I have been going to Cold Stone since I was a child and NEVER remember a “sample limit”. Now, I have been out of the country for 6 consecutive months so maybe cold stone creamery has a new policy. I do have a question though. If they offer new flavors how are we supposed to try them with this limit…All jokes aside, I came into the Dussel location and after a couple customers it was only me and 3 employees when I was told about this “limit”. I was only given one sample after being told about this policy. I asked about another flavor and instead of given a sample I was described the flavor and how it was just another flavor with coloring..I’m sorry but I also don’t know how that other flavor tastes since I am not eating Cold Stone everyday.. I was there to buy a quart and pick up an online order so I wasn’t tasting for a $3 cone. I spent $30 and couldn’t taste the free samples. I don’t want to write the name that was on the receipt because all of the workers were using the same login. Customers also came in after me after I had paid and they were not informed of this new sample policy…I think this policy was only between me and this employee.. I am apparently the free sample bandit..

I’m really sick of the inconsistency. Sometimes you go and it’s great, but sometimes you go and there’s barely any mix-ins in it. Tonight the ice cream was incredibly soupy that I had to go home and put it in my freezer and after an hour, it still was not hard enough to eat. Zero firmness whatsoever like the times before when it’s been perfect. It’s NOT cheap, so you need to be generous with the mix-ins. I don’t want a chunk of plain ice cream with barely anything in it. There’s certain employees who are great and put the perfect amount in. And then there’s others who skimp out on it. It’s frustrating and disappointing not getting what we pay a lot for.

Preordered a cake from here and they just didn’t make it when i went to pick it up. They said the ice cream machine was broken after they looked for the cake and told me they didnt make. They then tried to sell me a premade cake, why would i support your business when you dont have any customer service you didnt call or email me that the cake was not able to be made. Ruined kids bday party as he was really excited about his custom ice cream cake.

Ordered in the app (benefit of the doubt that maybe that’s where the problem lays ). Ordered the Oreo Overload & received something more like Oreo Oh-no! as there was supposed to be double the oreos, but not even the equivalent of 1 whole oreo was in there.

3 times last week we ordered our usual 2 items, 1 of which being the Oreo Overload but with Coffee ice cream & always a Gotta Have It size. 1st time was made with incorrect ice cream, all 3 times minimal oreos & all 3 times less than usual for the size ordered. New people and service still all good, just bummed that 3 out of 3 times in 1 week was my very same item subpar. By no means new to this location or this ordered item, so all comparisons based off of steady history of. Hoping it’s not a change in business.

Brenda and her team are all wonderful! A pleasant experience every time we visit and not to mention that it’s always delicious. Portions are lovely; location is always clean and aromatic, too, of course.

Ice cream is pretty good. I would expect the employees to mix up the ice cream a bit more than just smash it down once and put it in the cup.

i placed a delay pickup order. it was supposed to be a triple pint with cookie dough ice cream. it was cake batter ice cream. i know because their cake batter ice cream is sickeningly sweet and play dough tasting. also the toppings are too mixed i wanted brownie but it’s just full of crumbs. i’m surprised the cookie dough was even intact probably too hard to break up. shitty ice cream for $18

I Come here at least 3x a month for about 2 yrs for their double chocolate.
It’s nice when you walk in and the person waiting on you Is kind and smiles back. I don’t normally ever get a good vibe because 98% of the time they seem to hate their job and made to feel unwelcome.
Today I purposely look at the girls ID because she deserves a awesome review.

Went in around 2pm today, took 6 minutes for an employee to even come out of the back, I could have robbed the place twice by then lol. She comes out in a hoodie and no actual work clothes. Then we ask for their new item. She says they ran out but had only opened 2 hours prior and the place was completely empty. Whoever owns this cold stone needs to figure things out.
