Disappointing. Seems to occupy the space between Americanized Chinese food and something more traditional. This was my first and probably last visit. Food was okay, though overpriced. Skin on the dumplings was far too thick. Imperial beef was tolerable; but the chicken and vegetables was extremely bland.

There was so many things right with my visit and just as many wrongs.
First off I had to wait to be seated because host desk wasn’t manned, then the menus looked as if the we’re from the Ming dynasty. The bindings we’re all frayed and tattered and the plastic was greasy, dirty and frankly old looking as well.

I ordered and was brought the wrong food. When the right food came it presented in spectacular fashion.

I ordered the Lemon Chicken dish. The waiter brought to my table and proceeded to set the sauce on fire.
Then he poured the flaming brew on the breaded fried chicken pieces thus candy coating them.

They were crispy and delicious.
Now about the black oolong tea. It was disgusting. Maybe the pot was old, maybe it wasn’t washed thoroughly, maybe they burnt the tea or it was left over from the Ming dynasty. It was BAD!!!

The wait staff was friendly and for the most part attentive.

The massive urns filled with dusty Flower arrangements were in need of cleaning or replacement.

I’d give it a 3.5 but Google doesn’t do halfsies.

Big enough restaurant for large mall crowds. Plenty of room between tables for wheelchair accessibility.

Excellent Chinese food! The location is actually inside the Eden Prairie Shopping Center, and there is no door directly to the outside. We ordered take out and thought that everything we had was great. The portions were also very large.

If you’re leaving a bad review because of your political standings, maybe you should eat at home lol.
People have the right to think what they want, that’s why I think this place is wonderful. My family has come here ever since they opened and we’ve never had a bad experience. Their food is incredible REGARDLESS of inflation, and again if you think they’re expensive, it’s a couple dollars more so it’s not that big of a deal at all. The food is definitely worth it and the people are so nice, and it’s family owned, to the person who said they’re “short staffed.”
Please come here, it’s so good, just ignore the bad reviews and actually go before you just decide to say it’s bad.
(No I don’t have a political view either, I just like food.)

We had a great experience with Phillip who was our waiter. He had quick, friendly service, and never let a cup run dry. Tony who is either management or the owner was also very friendly and welcoming.

With the great food that was served here as well as the great service I thought I was sitting in a 5 star restaurant downtown instead of a mall restaurant.

I ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp. It was very satisfying and would recommend. I will be definitely going back to this place in the near future.

I can only share my experience with the lunch buffet, and I have to say I love it. They have a respectable, slightly-above-average selection of food, like maybe 4 or so meat dishes, another 5 or so of veggie/noodles, and a salad bar. I particularly find their green beans to be amazingly delicious, and the rest of their food to be at LEAST as good as other buffets, but generally better overall. No soggy, burnt, raw or undercooked, etc food, everything done well.

One other mention is the service during the buffet: they are spot on keeping your drink refilled (I don’t know how they whisk in, pour, and out, without me noticing!) and getting your bill and whatnot taken care of. They leave you alone, there isn’t any excessive chatter.

In short, it is my favorite buffet in Eden Prairie in terms of food quality, price, and service. I have been here many times and I don’t ever recall leaving with a single complaint. Not the cheapest buffet, but it’s a family owned restaurant that has to pay mall rent, so I have no problems with the $14 for buffet plus soda. I hope you like this restaurant as much as I do.

It was definitely a really bad experience upon entering the restaurant.
The staff was very rude and would walk away even when trying to communicate with them.
The food was definitely not fresh as it only took around 2 minutes for them to bring the dishes out from when ordered.
They also got one dish protein completely wrong and brought shrimp instead of chicken.

There was a rather strange flavor to the food, it was awful to take more than one bite.

They didn’t seem to have any respect for their customers whatsoever.
