Okay, we came in for the first time. Not a single guest in the dining room at 2:15 pm. The dining room is filthy. There are plenty of crew on staff to clean it, though, but they are too busy on their phones. A girl in braided extensions is not tied back. The Mac n cheese appears old and overcooked, I returned it to the counter, and they replaced it with one that looked worse than the first. We got a Cole Slaw in its place, and it tasted like dill pickes. The red beans and rice appeared like refried beans with a little white rice sprinkled on top. The bone in chicken was okay, but the tenders were oddly shaped and dry and tough. It smells like a nasty Grease trap in here now. We are leaving and NEVER returning.

I was in Popeyes Louisiana kitchen on white sands boulevard and I have to say it was the best experience I have ever had at any popeyes fried chicken establishments. In the last couple of years, I have visited Popeyes fried chicken in Colorado Springs, Colorado. And here in alamoguardo new mexico. Me and my wife were greeted by James and his customer service was absolutely outstanding and Popeyes should be proud of this employee as a former business owner. I know what good customer service is. I have read most of the reviews on this restaurant. What we experience today was not what the previous reviews reflected. Samantha and bernadette were absolutely awesome and working their butts off. The restaurant was immaculately clean. And what really got me in my wife was how much we actually had fun interacting with all of the employees. We ordered two of the three piece , five dollar favorites , and it was to go. When we got to our car, we opened up the container and started to eat the chicken and it was so freshly cooked.We were absolutely amazed. The Popeyes fried chicken in Colorado Springs, Colorado was absolutely dried up dog food and we swore we would never go back to popeye’s ever again. This restaurant in Alamogordo new Mexico should be a model restaurant for future locations. This location will have our business for as long as this type of service and fresh food continues , hands down. In closing we are very proud of this restaurant and its employees as most of the Popeyes we have been to were pure crap including the customer service. Good Job crew members and popeye’s!!!!

I recently tried the nuggets and spicy chicken sandwich at Popeyes, and they were both fantastic. The nuggets were incredibly crispy and crunchy, some of the best I’ve ever had. The chicken in the sandwich was tender and delicious. The dining area was clean, and the quality of the food was top-notch. Overall, I had a great experience at Popeyes and thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

I go into Popeyes twice a month and have never had any problems. But the last two times I have ordered my food on the app. To pickup only to get home and find my order is wrong. The receipt is right but the food is wrong. Tonight simple order four pieces of white meat and a two pieces dark meat. I get that way because I like leftover cold chicken white meat only. My wife eats only white meat. Why is that so hard? And to happen two times in a row.

This is the second time of absolutely dismal, garbage, bottom of the barrel service from Popeyes. The last time, the teenagers in the drive-through treated my family like trash for refusing spicy tenders when we had ordered original. You know, because small children typically don’t eat spicy chicken tenders.
This time, we ordered a 16 piece for our family plus chicken tenders, only receives part of the meal and because they charged sides separately ended up being charged more for the meal than we should have.
When they brought out our 16 piece, it was actually a 12 piece. Missing a side and missing four pieces of chicken, not enough to feed our family. We waited double time for this food, and then had to wait on a manager to come out. Should’ve been a simple solution, so sorry for our mistake, throw in four more pieces of chicken and send us on our way.
But instead had to get refunded $60 for my meal, by going inside to wait again on management, and wait for them to refund me, then get handed the wrong receipt for the refund, and then have to wait 7 to 10 business days for it to show up back in my account. Hands down the worst service I’ve ever received … twice.

Earlier this week I to order twice at the speaker, and again at the window. The first kid just stopped talking to me. Two cars went ahead of me and I had to ask what was going on, and a different kid took my order. Then the manager at the window had to ask again. 25 minute wait.
Tonight I go and order tenders, and get a 2 piece chicken that literally looks green. I asked for wings and confirmed BONE IN twice. I get boneless wings.
This place is a joke. I don’t even want to think about their food safety adherence. They should just shut down for a week, clean house, and start over. It’s always like this.

I am one of the sides prep cook for evening shift. Our restaurant is a crew member establishment in which all employees move around to help when short handed. The food is excellent. I am not rating it good just because I am a employee. I am also a patron who eats there on my days off. Like presently I am currently off because I am on vacation for grandkids graduations in California and plan to eat at Popeyes out here. If you visit Alamogordo NM be sure to check our Popeyes out on S. Whitesands Blvd.

The Popeyes on White Sands Blvd in Alamogordo is awesome! I’m a regular customer and the staff—cashiers, managers, and cooks—are always friendly and welcoming. Even on the rare times an order has a little mix-up (usually when they’re training the younger staff), they always fix it right away and do it with a smile. The food is great, the service is fast, and the positive attitude here makes it one of my favorite spots in town!
