This is definitely a jewel in the Bayshore area. The food and service are fantastic. There weren’t many people dining in; however, there was a constant flow of customers for carry out. I do understand why! The food is DELICIOUS. We had the egg rolls, happy family chef special which consists of broccoli, watercress or water chestnuts, onions, shrimp, beef, scallops and possibly chicken with the best sauce ever. Even though it came with white rice, we ordered shrimp fried rice as well. Everything was awesome including the service. It was my first time, but it certainly will not be my last.

I ordered this via Uber Eats, first time I’ve tried this place. Beef with green beans has flavor, packed with green beans but maybe a 1/4 cup (if that much) of beef was in the entire package. Most of the pieces were tough. Very disappointing. Also got Kung pao chicken same scenario lots of chopped vegetables very very sparse chicken, almost non existent. I thought at first they made the meals vegetarian by mistake after digging for thr meat. We like just plain rice, which was hard too! Lo mean was good and flavorful. I may try again because we lack options in the north shore but it was over priced for very, very little, tough meat.

Delicious food, hot and fast and priced fairly. I really like the menu, there’s a wide variety. Much more than a lot of other Chinese restaurants. They also have Nepalese and Indian dishes, all very delicious.

The setting is very welcoming…spacious, clean, and warm. The server was exceptionally kind, pleasant, and helpful. The food was outstanding! We sampled a variety of Chinese and Indian food entrees and everything was wonderful.

We ordered DoorDash once and it was good. I wanted to try out other menu items so we ordered pickup. The place was pretty empty when I went in to place my order but quickly became a bit busier. I ordered $73 worth of food, all of which will be thrown away.
I got the garlic eggplant, green beans and onion, chicken fried rice, egg fried rice, 4 egg rolls, and an order of crab Rangoon. The fried rice’s were really good, which was what we initially ordered the first time through DoorDash. The eggplant and green beans, however, were one note. Very heavy on soy sauce and oyster sauce which made it very salty. The egg rolls, I wish I wouldn’t have ordered bc they were very flavorless. The crab Rangoons, very skimpy. It was wrapped in large wrappers with very little filling.
I am most upset about the “boba” milk tea. These are canned bubble milk tea. They advertised “boba” and I thought it was going to be actual boba tea with tapioca and a smoothie consistency. NOT CANNED stuff and for $3.95..I could have went to the local Asian store and got a 16 oz can for cheaper. Sorry but Tonight it was a huge miss and enough of a miss for me to not return.

Royal Garden has an extensive menu of Indian, Chinese, and Nepalese options. This is our go to spot for all of the above. Delicious food and good service! Good sized portions as well.

The Royal Chinese Garden is my go to for consistently amazing Chinese food in Milwaukee, and now that they have combined with Everest Cafe for Nepalese & Indian Cuisine, this is a must try restaurant for delicious Asian dishes. Next time you are looking for great takeout that can be healthy and not heavy, definitely try it out!
Some faves of mine are the Garlic Naan, Crispy Sesame Chicken (Spicy), Beef & Broccoli, Chicken with Garlic Sauce, Rice/Fried Rice, and Sweet & Sour Chicken.

I usually don’t complain, because I love Chinese food. But unfortunately this was the worst of the worst. Spoke to the restaurant management and she said there’s nothing they could do,so that being said. I don’t plan on giving them any more of my money and I’m definitely not recommending them.

The food was OK. My friend and I were the only seated diners in the restaurant the whole time we were there. Several people stopped for carry outs, though. Our server, however was very nice and attentive.
