I’ve been eating here since I was a kid and it is hands down the best Chianese food in Morgantown. I had pancreatitis when I was 19 and could eat for months, and this was the first place I went when I got out of the hospital to eat. Everytime I get an opportunity I get lunch here. It’s affordable, free delicious tea, entree, soup and a spring roll. When my family is sick I go pick us up Hot and Sour soup and that’s what we eat until we’re better. The owners are wonderful people and treat you like family.

Tea is delicious so is the food owner is super friendly and attentive! Only negative would be portions could be bigger now they do give you a huge plate of white rice separately from your main dish but I would like a bigger portion! The prices are great I will say I ordered the seafood delight and didn’t find one piece of lobster but I will still keep going place is amazing

We miss sit down Chinese restaurants . Where we live in SC we have takeout only or buffet with I don’t like. When we travel we make a point to find nice sit down restaurants.

First visit to Morgantown and chose this restaurant due to proximity and craving asian food. I sat at the bar since I was flying solo. Staff was friendly and engaging. I ordered the sesame chicken. Flavorful, thick sauce. Crunchy veges, chicken was flavorful and well cooked. I was also provided with traditional tea with free refill.
I would recommend trying this place out. I am aware of the bad reviews related to bad service, I actually discussed it with the gentleman at the bar and he assured me that it has been handled. YMMV.

The first thing you notice walking in is the lovely decore. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. When you get set down they brought us a kettle of tea. The menu is varied and has a lot of options. We had the cheese wontons which were a solid 4 but the main was canton duck 5/5. It was cooked well and seasoned perfectly. My wife and I split these items and had left overs. We are light eaters but the portion size was generous. Prices are good for what you get and they have been in morgantown for 40yrs for a reason.

This isn’t my first time eating here but it’s probably my last. I did a door dash order at 5:03 they accepted it at 5:06 with the expected ready time as 5:25, it wasn’t done when I got there which honestly wasn’t an issue but the attitude with the front staff was extremely rude. Someone claimed they had been waiting 2 hours for there order (I have no clue if that’s accurate or how much food they ordered) but the response to that person was “so?” Front staff bumped into people and just walked through pushing people instead of asking people to move.
Door dash people came piling in and she refused to call out names and asked everyone each time for the name of the order she had one and angerly huffed when “no one got the name right.”
I was about to cancel the order as more and more people complained of their wait time. Somehow though as I was about to cancel mine came out…
The food:
The seafood royal deluxe described shrimp, crab and scallops for the price my expectations was a 5-6 shrimp a couple bay scallops and a piece or 2 of imitation crab. Instead I got 5 shrimp in total no other type of seafood, and mainly cabbage and broccoli the only seasoning I could taste despite it being a sauce was salt. I added several spices at home and it was fine to eat but just not what I was expecting.
The Sweet and Sour pork was chewy only had a few pieces of pepper broccoli and carrot, it was generous on the pork and the sauce was fine.
The cheese wanton was the biggest let down they were barely filled and although chive was noticeable I only got a hint of cream cheese flavor they were very bland and tasted like 0 salt was added.
The shrimp balls to be fair I thought they would be in a soft batter but it was crunchy and overcooked once again little to no salt and they just had a bland flavor with a hint of shrimp on the back end.
It was a highly disappointing meal. I have to say it’s the worst Chinese I have ever had.

Absolutely delicious fried rice and the other food was great as well. The service is amazing as for the food came about only 10 minutes. The atmosphere is quite interesting and could improve, but I would recommend this restaurant for Morgantown standards.
