It’s midday on a sunny hot Saturday in Compton and I was craving something tasty – I saw Yoshinoya and boom!
The place is clean and fresh the staff friendly welcoming and attentive and the food was just as good as I remembered, even better!
I had a combination beef and vegetable bowl, the vegetables tasted fresh – cooked perfectly and the beef delicious.
The menu has expanded a lot and there are good specials available through their app. But for me I made the right choice

Love the food. The teriaky, the spicy wings, their vegetales, and clam chowder. And everything else. Can’t complain. I love their workers even though I can’t see them smile they would make you know they love their job. Thanks. Blessings.

Had been a while since I visited Yo, but I was very disappointed. Not only did they not want to fulfill my order because they didn’t have chicken. So at first I assumed they were out of chicken but it was too early so I asked if they were completely out or just not have enough cooked, then the cook yelled from the kitchen no we have some but it will take 18 minutes, so I agreed to wait, but I would have liked to have been given that option before completely trying to reject my order in the first place. Now that was not the biggest issue, when I get home the chicken was delicious but the beef was inedible, seemed like the beef impurities were not removed making it inedible, lastly the 4 veggie sides were also missing. So lesson learned, I will definitely recommend everyone checking their orders.

Had a 4 star review before but had to lower it today because i ordered 2 large bowls and i asked rice for one and noodles for the other and they gave me noodles for both and on top of that they didnt give me the 5 piece fried chicken that i ordered as well. Then when i went back and showed them my receipt they had the audacity to say that no i didn’t order one rice one noodle despite me literally pointing to where it says rice on it. At the end they gave me my order but still such a bad experience.

Last time coming to this location. Obviously understaffed, wait time is well past 30 minutes after ordering. Also if you’re going to have employees multi task away from the register they should put on gloves when handling orders.
