Absolutely loved my visit to Cruffin & Tea This beautiful French-Asian bakery on Southside feels like such a hidden gem in Jacksonville. The pastries were incredible — flaky, fresh, and full of flavor. The cruffins, croissants, and artisan pastries honestly reminded me of being in Europe — everything tasted high-quality, thoughtfully made, and truly special.
You can feel the intention behind every detail: fresh-baked goods every morning, no artificial dyes, homemade sauces, premium ingredients, and drinks that are just as good as the pastries. The pistachio cruffin and the strawberry and mango matcha were standout favorites — so fresh and perfectly balanced.
What made the experience even more meaningful was meeting the owner, Katelyn. She is genuinely kind, warm, and passionate. She took the time to come over, share her story, and talk about the heart behind the café and the love that goes into everything they create. We even bonded over food — she loves Indian food, I told her I make the best, and we instantly connected over my love for croissants and her love for butter chicken. That personal connection made the visit even more special.
This isn’t just a bakery — it’s a dream, a passion project, and a place built with love and care. So grateful to have this in our community. Highly recommend supporting this beautiful local business — you’ll feel it in the atmosphere, the service, and every bite.

Smells really good when u walk in shop. New and fresh bakery every day. I loved the hot dog bakery as the bread was crispy, chewy, and buttery. Best hotdog bakery I’ve had. Their cruffin is amazing as well as the bread is nice and chewy and airy. Perfect amount of sweetness. Will be trying their other bakery next time. Definitely recommend and will be coming back for more. Would only eat at this bakery as their ingredients are fresh and high quality.

Had a fantastic experience today. I would eat the biscoff cookies EVERY DAY!!! Food was good without being overly sweet. My only issue is that I hate matcha, so the drinks were out for me, but it didn’t ruin the rest of it.

New Asian-French bakery & Matcha spot is in town and the grand opening was Jan 3rd.
Katelyn, a mother of three children and the baker delivers freshly baked goods made with natural ingredients, NO artificial dyes, and using homemade sauces for both her pastries and drinks.
She was so sweet and humble.
They only serve Matcha drinks and they are so delicious!
I took my nieces and daughter and they absolutely loved it. Food, drink and ambiance were so so pretty.
It was perfect for a girls hangout!
But when I went there, all tables were taken. I hope they add more tables and chairs instead of the large table in the center. Since it’s near schools, I hope many students will not take a table with a laptop for studying and stay there for extended periods.
It’s worth the drive and must try!

The cruffins were huge and incredibly fresh, and the custard was absolutely delicious. The beautiful blue color of the Blue Cloud Matcha comes naturally from superfood spirulina, so it’s completely safe to enjoy. The interior is stunning and relaxing, and I was especially impressed that all the orchids are real. It was my first visit today, but it might already be my favorite café in Jacksonville!

Everything is so good and yummy! It’s so hard to pick a favorite so I suggest trying it all. Everything is made by the owner and the drinks were just as delicious. We had the mango sticky rice latte and I highly recommend it! Looking forward to coming back and trying the rest of the matcha’s/lattes! The atmosphere is also warm and inviting and the staff and owners are so lovely!

Super cute family owned cafe! The owner was kind and walked me through their products when I came. The croissant muffins are delicious with a great texture and a perfect amount of creme inside. I also tried a sample of their croissant cinnamon roll, which was amazing! I’ll definitely be getting it again later. The matcha drink was beautiful and tasted very high quality. The tea is always made fresh too behind the counter! I’m very excited about this place and they have impressed me already. My only suggestion is that I would love to see a few more savory options since I’m not a big hot dog person.
