I absolutely love this location! Katie, Jalen, and the manager Dalton always make my day every time I come in. Their hospitality is honestly the best — they make me feel so happy and welcomed, like I’m part of their family. The service is excellent, the food is always fresh, and the whole environment just feels warm and positive. Truly the best team!

If you choose to eat here, inspect your food in front of the staff. Otherwise, you’ll be stuck with a subpar meal (by subpar meaning not fresh) zero refund, and an argument with a manager who may or may not threaten to report you for trespassing even though you paid. So, fun times.

First-time visit. I ordered a kids meal…a half turkey sandwich for my son who’s under 2. Like any reasonable parent, I opened the sandwich to check the contents. The turkey did feel a little slimy, which immediately gave me pause. It smelled okay, but after tasting a sliver (literally smaller than a dime), I didn’t feel comfortable feeding it to my kid. I ended up giving him part of the croissant with just the cheese. No turkey.

The fruit side was another disappointment. The strawberries were translucent and mushy, like they’d been soaking in their own juices for too long and not fresh. That’s not a one day fruit salad. Grapes were *fine*, but had that slightly grimy texture you get when fruit has started to break down which alludes to either overly ripe fruit or not as fresh. It is Dec 31st so you gotta clean out the cooler, right? Right. The cookie came wrapped. I didn’t open it. The croissant was a bit dry, but that’s not unusual if it’s untoasted which I didn’t want toasted.

At that point, I felt like the quality just wasn’t there, so upon walking in the restaurant I politely asked for a refund to the young lady at the register. She proceeded to get the manager (Dalson? Dawson? Still unclear) and he offered an exchange instead. He suggested the chicken salad, cookie or something else in their store but I declined due to high fructose corn syrup in the chicken salad and the fact that nothing really sounded appealing anymore.

What followed was an awkward, persistent back-and-forth between me and the manager. No yelling, just two people digging their heels in. I didn’t come in with an attitude, but he was clearly defensive. I felt like my concerns weren’t being taken seriously his tone was passive-aggressive, and his apologies felt more dismissive than sincere.

The interesting part? He actually threatened to report me for trespassing, which was… wild. I stood there in stunned silence thinking, *Is this really about a turkey sandwich and some mushy strawberries/broken down fruit?*

Eventually, we agreed on croissants as an “exchange.” I asked for 8 (the meal more or less cost $8.65, croissants are $1 each—do the math), but that was apparently asking too much. After a bit of awkward negotiation that felt like hostage bartering, he agreed to give me 4. Which hey, I thought of it again and I touched the food. Tasted and gave my son a piece of croissant. But you can clearly tell the meal wasn’t indulged in. It was more inspection eating. Reluctant tasting.

Bottom line: The quality was disappointing, the customer service was weirdly confrontational, and the entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth. No pun intended.

Edit to add:
They need a food inspector to visit their establishment. Will I call? IDK. But, someone needs to check it out. I’ve worked years in the food industry and know quality/lack thereof.

After today’s visit and the attitude of the manager, the food is questionable. (The ingredients? Wow.) Fillers, preservatives and more. Not the “healthy” we really want anyway.

The croissants given to me (the other 4) seemed fresher. Which leads me to believe the sandwich sold to me was in the fridge pre made. Not horrible but changed the quality significantly. Obviously.

I’ve gone hungry. Eaten crackers and ketchup in my lifetime to survive hard times. I’m grateful for what I have and not snob with stuff like this. Just serve better quality. I would not have served what I was to a human living on the street.

This was probably the 5th or 6th time at this location and always order the same items. Reason whyi didn’t give full 5 stars; Maybe was a new staff or kitchen, but seemed a little “off” the usual. We typically ask for extra crackers, and given more than a handful; this time 2 or 3. Also the sweet iced tea was not as before.

On September 9, I found a bug on my food and I brought it to the staff’s attention quietly because there were people around and I didn’t wanna make a scene. I kindly asked for a refund because I didn’t finish my food and the manager proceeded to tell me that they don’t do refunds and he tried to gaslight me and say that it was a seasoning however Seasonings don’t have antennas. I love this place and I was extremely disappointed on how they handled it. I reached out to corporate just to get my money back and I haven’t heard back yet.

I really thought this place was super healthy until I read the ingredients. All their chicken salads have high fructose corn syrup. I went next-door to Whole Foods to get my chicken salad. I will gladly return if they make a change to their recipes.

This isn’t new for any fast food chain, but don’t let their “made from scratch” marketing fool you. This place isn’t any healthy. Their ingredients are highly processed and contain chemical food dyes, preservatives like EDTA, seed oil, corn syrup, etc. All cause inflammation and may lead to disease if you repeatedly eat these things. If your gut feels off after eating here this is why. Read the labels on their packaged food.

Excellent excellent food. High quality, fresh ingredients, extremely clean, and friendly staff. We have tried almost everything on the menu and would order it all again. You will be happy with anything you try here. Start with getting a chick which gets you a sandwich and add a side or scoop. Do the scoop so you can try 2 different chicken salads. They also give samples if you are unsure.
