Good food in a bar setting. Emma was friendly and took good care of us. They were out of the first 2 things we ordered – pork chops and brisket – so I went with the fish n chips, side of Brussels. The Brussels had a great flavor, but once you chewed off the outer leaves, you were left with a golf ball sized cabbage ball with no flavor. The salad bar was decent but could have used a refresh of non-white iceberg. It was still a nice place to stop on a Saturday ride.

When you live in a smaller type of city like Cheyenne your whole life, it can be tough to find a new place to eat. And that’s what brought me to Ike’s. It’s a newish restaurant, and it was time to give it a shot. My first visit here went really well. The atmosphere was vibrant. The service was superb. The waitress we had was amazing. She was really, really friendly. I will go as far as to say she’s one of the best waitresses I’ve had in Cheyenne in a very long time. I just wish I remembered her name so I could give her some well-deserved props. The layout of the dining area was nice with many TVs. There wasn’t too much separation from the bar area, but that wasn’t an issue because the bar patrons weren’t too loud or unruly or anything like that. Now as for the food. To start with it, it isn’t a big menu but there is plenty to offer for lunch and dinner. My party and I started with the spicy cheese curds, and they are for sure spicy. They tasted good, though. They weren’t overwhelmingly spicy. Also, they definitely give you your money’s worth because it was a large helping of cheese curds we got. Large portions are definitely a plus. I definitely recommend them if you are a cheese curd fan and want to try a different take on cheese curds. As for my main dish, I got a burger and fries. I get a burger everywhere I go. I’m kind of boring, but this restaurant definitely passed the burger test because it ended up being really good. It was well cooked. It just tasted really good, and I loved their fries. This first visit, i can say, exceeded my expectations. I definitely looked forward to my second visit to see if it goes just as well.

Restaurant with a n ambiance of a sports bar.
Our server, Gaby, was super! Her service and her attention to customers are unrivaled by the other people working there. Kudos to all!
My dear husband ordered a brisket sandwich with a side of spicy curds, and he said it was delicious.
My hamburger was perfectly done with the great amount of spices. The onion rings were really good.
The fried doughnuts with ice cream were a reminder of a churro. If you are in for a sweet treat, this is for you!

Twice now having lunch here and its been excellent service and good eats. Ive only eatin the Pork Chop and potatoes with a trip to salad bar. Best fresh salad bar in town !! The Chop has been quicy and thick on both lunch trips. My buddy has the Philly with cheez whiz & green chili and he fully enjoyed that sandwhich. Clean restraunt and the waitress Heather was on point ! Friendly, smiling and the sweet tea was never empty. Owner lady came to the table and thanked us for having lunch there. Perfect place for lunch when in Cheyenne !!

Such a good place!!!! I ordered the onion rings for an appetizer, and they are by FAR the best onion rings in Cheyenne. The entree was a Philly cheesesteak which was also incredible. Our server was very efficient and super friendly! Excited to come back and try more items on the menu!

Family Owned Eatery that is perfect for the hungry traveler. I was looking for a “mom and pop” restaurant for lunch instead of a fast food chain while traveling and Ike’s Bar and Grill popped up in my search. When I was parking I noted that a Fire Chief vehicle was in the lot, always a good sign. When local law enforcement and fire department vehicles are present it means the food is probably good.
I ordered a brisket sandwich with onion rings and sweet tea. The bread was lightly toasted and the brisket was tender and flavorful. The onion rings were crispy and hot. The portion size was perfect for a light lunch, filling without being overfull.
The service was excellent as well.
I was halfway through when I remembered I should take a photo.
While I was only passing through, and may never be this way again for years, I am glad I stopped for lunch

The service was amazing! Unfortunately, the food was horrible. You might as well go to the frozen foods at Walmart and pick up your dinner for cheaper. The “chicken fried chicken” are just frozen chicken patties for quick sandwiches. The mashed potatoes are instant, and no flavor at all. The green chili burrito would have been much better if the boiled chicken had seasoning before it was placed in the burrito. We asked the server if the chicken was frozen, and she confirmed it, and I didn’t want to laugh when she confirmed the instant potatoes. So I did not ask about them. I’m very disappointed. However, the ONLY thing that we thought was good was the green chili cheese French fries. However, unless you want to be clogged up for a week; ask for light cheese. Personally; for the business, if you’re reading this; I would recommend serving only 1 burrito with a side of homemade fried rice to complement the burrito. Don’t forget seasoning. Oh, and when you order, don’t order the jalapeño pork chops because they no longer carry it.

The hostess/waitress immediately asked our drink orders, which was nice. We asked if they have sweet tea – she brought unsweet. Nothing got better from there. 2 tables that arrived after us ordered before us. It took 40 minutes for our food to arrive. A side of onion rings was 4 onion rings. They were almost burned, and dripping grease. When the bill came, our entrees were both $1 more than on the menu. The manager/other waitress offered to correct it while also saying ‘our prices have increased 3 times but we haven’t updated our menu.’ Apparently not informing the customers and just hoping they don’t notice the bill is deceitful & deceptive. I mentioned our whole experience to this waitress, and said our waitress must be new. ‘Todays her first day serving.’ 2 stars to give her the benefit of the doubt, and because we at least ate our food. My husband left hungry after eating the brisket sandwich, which was all fat.
