Sure you get silverware! We did not and could’ve used it for our to-go order. Excellent menu options. The Philly gyro is amazing. Seasoned fries are perfect!
Had the (8) Gyro Burger & Fries, (13) Chicken Tikka Korma with rice with a sweet tea. Paid $37 for both dishes plus a drink. Drink not included with any of menu options.
The food is usually fine, if not occasionally a bit greasy. Depends on who is cooking that day. Professionalism also varies by employee. Some are very kind, others like to be on their phone and make you feel like an inconvenience for having come in to their business.
If you’re going to go to George’s, go to the one on 70/A or 27/Pine Lake. Those are much better locations.
Air conditioning wasn’t working or keeping up so that was really difficult.
I swear it’s always the same guy working. He does his best to go above and beyond, soooo accommodating!
The food was exquisitely bland. I’m 95% sure the “tzatziki” was just sour cream with the faintest whisper of cucumber; no detectable lemon juice, garlic, signs of life, nada.
The Gyro meat was tender enough (although I feel terrible for the cows and lambs that gave their lives to be cooked without any seasoning), the pita was, as well. No onions, just iceberg lettuce and the bland tomatoes that restaurants use.
The fries were cooked perfectly but, again, lacked any semblance of taste. The entirety of the meal could have used 4 times the salt.
I suppose if you’re hammered, have true Nebraska taste, or COVID, it would be worth checking out.
