I came to this buffet restaurant for dinner today, on 10/08/2025.
To be honest, I’m very picky when it comes to food and always judge dishes by their taste and quality.
To my surprise, everything I chose here was of very good quality — I especially liked the fish, shrimp, and meat grilled over an open flame.
I ate to my heart’s content and even gave them a compliment in Chinese, telling them how much I enjoyed everything!
The variety of dishes here is huge!
Everything is delicious and satisfying!
The staff is attentive — mostly beautiful, slim, young women with kind smiles.
Even on this rainy evening, my mood lifted!
It’s a great place with a nice design and a large free parking lot nearby.
You can come here with children or a group of 6–8 people.
The only thing that might be missing is some soft, relaxing background music.
Everything else deserves five stars!

The food is great, but it was really crowded. There is a lot of people and it’s too crowded when getting your food, also there is barely any space to move around when getting your food. The long booths are really akward, when trying to get up to grab more food everyone has to get up so the person at the end of the booth can go, but besides that the food is really good. I love the macaroni cheese and the strawberry shortcake. I would recommend this place the food is amazing.

Their food is really tasty & fresh. I love the interior, it’s all new, clean and modern. They have people sweeping & cleaning all the time! This place stays busy. Try the roast beef! And those mushrooms are fantastic!

Newer buffet that opened up last time we were in town and decided to try it out this time. It was busy which is a plus to me, because then you know the food is fresh. Bathrooms were clean. There were a lot of different dishes to choose from. They had traditional buffet Chinese food and other southern type dishes and a salad bar.

I was treated to a late lunch today. I haven’t been here since they opened. The food and service was still great. The quality hadn’t changed. I started with a salad, a buttered roll, and some pot roast.
The second plate was a BBQ rib, mac and cheese, fish nugget, fried wonton with cream cheese, and some sweet potato casserole. My last plate was my favorite. A sampling of their Chinese food. Yum!

Had visited this location a couple of years back under Sakura, but this time, under new owner, it was a great experience. Spoke with owner and complimented her on the quality of food, service, and environment. Servers are constantly bussing tables and refilling beverages. As a former Food and Beverage manager am highly critical of food establishments and this was 5 star. I encourage anyone visiting Tuscaloosa to stop by and you will not be disappointed.

I got a to-go box, which costed me about $20 (6.99/lb for a normal box or 8.99/lb for a premium box). I think there was a communication gap, but they charged me for a premium when they were suposed to charge me for the normal (or I was misinformed). There’s plenty of chicken options, and a few fish, ribs, bbq Every chicken dish I had was pretty good, particually the honey chicken. The noodles and fried rice, while simple, had a unique flavor compared to other Chinese spots and were quite good.
For dessert, there’s a good variety, though I only tried the pre-packed ice cream. Overall, the food was egreat, but I’m rating this place pretty low for the bad service.

I drive by, and the name threw me off. Chows “country buffet”. Lol. But it does indeed have southern comfort food and Chinese food under one roof! All of it was fresh, hot, and good. We will be back.

Saturday around noon. Super busy and crowded. Standard pricing. Wide variety Chinese and American. Kept the food coming among big crowd. Server was prompt and attentive. Food was standard which is what you generally want with buffets. No big surprises other than the variety.

The food is fresh and flavorful! Prices are very reasonable! There’s a broad selection of cuisine. Extensive selection of my favorite, Chinese food, and good selection of down-home Country food, including cornbread. I really liked the garlic bread! The Crab Rangoon was some of the best I’ve ever had! There are many proteins cooked in a variety of ways. I had some Banana Pudding and Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. I liked the BBQ Pork strips, Teriyaki Chicken, Crabmeat Casserole with melted cheese on top. I had a few bites of the Fried Catfish and it was awesome! I love the seasoning! This is definitely the place to YUM, YUM GIT YA SOME! I am stuffed, but I can’t wait to go back!
