The rice is super good here! The Lamb shank was perfectly good and fall-off-the-bone. I went with the Cucumber Salad and the Eggplant salad as the sides and I thought it was a very good combination.

My wife and I recently visited this Moroccan vendor in the North Market and was absolutely blown away by their lamb and tajine chicken dishes.
The lamb was tender, succulent, and perfectly seasoned with a blend of Moroccan spices. It was cooked to perfection, falling off the bone with every bite.
The tajine chicken was equally impressive – spicy, flavorful, and incredibly juicy. It had just the right amount of kick without overpowering the palate.
Both dishes were served with a side rice which we also added couscous plus an order of carrot salad and potato salad, making the meal both satisfying and balanced.

Thank goodness my wife takes quite a few pics. I forgot the name of the place but by far my favorite of the places we tried. Their lamb shank…just WOW. Their beets were really good too. I wish I had somewhere close to get lamb shanks and wish I knew their cooking method and recipe. Guess I could call around to local butchers butchers and find a Moroccan recipe online…well, this is going to be on my mind to do for a long time now. I will get always get a lamb shank if/when I ever go back, well worth it just as a side dish to share or main.
Made it back. Lamb shanks still as delicious as ever. Beets & eggplant sides were also superb. Best place in the market. Daughter spilled her soup in a bag from another place in the market and employee was super helpful. Keep up the great food and exceptional workers!

Great service. They will explain everything to you. Let you know what they have. Why the food is made the way it is. It is Moroccan cuisine. They are very very friendly which is I’ve been to Morocco and usually there wasn’t as friendly as they are here. Food has a lot of flavors as well

I was in town for a conference, and decided to check out North Market for lunch with a colleague. We decided on Moroccan, and Tajine House was a hit! I went for the fish tajine, which was a lovely entree of salmon and rice. The selection of sides made it hard to choose, because they all looked so good! I went for the carrots and cauliflower. Moroccan mint tea topped it all off. Highly recommended!

Not sure how long this gourmet food place has been here but I wish I’d found it earlier. Really great Moroccan food with amazing flavors and great options of main and sides. You really can’t go wrong here. I will be back!!!
