I went to Tacos Haciendo to celebrate my most recent birthday and let me tell you… food was amazing! I also had a margarita and it was very tasty as well. I enjoyed their tradition of singing happy birthday to their guest, that was super fun.

Awesome food!

This is our local family run Mexican restaurant and we patronize it several times a month. We have done dine-in but generally do take-out and pick it up ourselves. You can order (full menu online) and pay online through their website or just call it in and pay when you pick your order up. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and the food never disappoints! It’s definitely one of our favorites. They also have a nice lighthouse alcove (holds maybe 20ish people) that you can call to reserve ahead of time for small gatherings.

First time here, a coworker recommended it as this is her favorite spot. The one that is south of NAS Patuxent River gate 3 is great. But this one is amazing. They step up to the plate on every single aspect of the restaurant service experience. The food, taste, proportion, and presentation are all top tier. But because of this, it gets packed fast.

Simple restaurant. Can get busy. Kitchen is fast, food is always good, service is excellent. Always leave happy.
Husband and I share a regular serving of fajitas, we just ask for extra shells. I don’t eat the beans or rice.

I came here with a friend and we got the Beerus special and the street taco platter. My birria tacos were pretty soggy when they arrived and the cheese tasted a little processed and gross. I wouldn’t say it was super good. My friend got the carne asada street tacos and said they were good, and that platter came with rice and beans as well as 4 tacos. The portions were large, and for both of us it was a $40 ticket with tip and tax, including a 12 oz beer.
They did bring out chips and salsa as soon as we sat down, and when our meal came they had three different salsa condiments to choose from which was great.
As a note, it was really stale and hot inside the restaurant, there wasn’t a ton of airflow and it didn’t feel like there was any AC on.

Found this place on a hunch and had a very late lunch. The salsa was a little watery but smokey/tasty and with a kick. Very good. I ordered the Chili Colorado when I saw it was made with pork and not the usual worst-possible grade of beef. The dish arrived looking lighter than I am used to when testing restaurants against a known model. It was a touch drab, but still spicy and the meat was close to perfect. A pleasant experience overall.
