I was craving sushi on my roadtrip through Jasper. I found One Sushi, which had 4 stars and I thought ok, lets try it. They didnt have my personal preference of spicy crab roll, so i decided to venture out of my comfort zone and try their Amazing Roll with mango pieces. Oh my god, it did NOT disappoint. I was so pleasantly surprised at how fresh the fish was and how well the flavours went together. This spot is a must-try for all sushi lovers. I am so impressed and so happy i took a chance!

We had a great dinner during our stay in Jasper. The service was really friendly and helped us to make a right selection. My kids enjoyed their ramens and I loved theirs lunch box. All was delicious and fresh. Highly recommended.

Our tour company selected One Sushi as our dining destination and our group of 14 was very happy with the choice. Our selected food item was a Korean Dumpling soup aka Mandu guk and it was excellent. The side dishes which were kimchi and cucumber kimchi were well made and delicious with the soup dish.
Also included was a bowl of rice which went well with the soup.
Customer service was friendly and the ambiance of the store was clean and Asian feeling. We are planning to return for dinner for sushi rolls and other Japanese dishes. Looking forward to it!

I am from Edmonton and we were craving some ramen on our way to BC so me and my family stopped by Jasper and went to this restaurant. I ordered the Don Kotsu ramen. It was good but could use less saltiness. We also had the takoyaki and it was the best thing that was served to us. The service was great. We had a young lady serve us, and when we asked she said her name was Kim. Very nice and made us laugh a lot when serving us. It was sad that another girl took our table from her since we planned on giving her $50 tip. But atmosphere was great, the young lady seemed like she was the only one enjoying her job.

Great food and service here! Came with my friend and his family for a birthday dinner. Everyone was happy with the meal.
However, they have the same 3 songs play over and over and over again. One of which is a terrible remix of “I Gotta Feeling” the 3 songs do not fit the atmosphere at all and it’s surprising nobody who works there seems to notice. Otherwise would be a 5 star experience so figure I’d mention this.

Do not have a single complaint about this restaurant. Food was reasonably priced and service was quick. We ordered a variety of dishes and all of them met or exceeded expectations, with the bill for a party of 5 only being 120$ for quality Japanese and Korean food. The beef yakisoba was a bit too salty, but not enough to make it inedible and warrant a request for exchange. The pork katsu was crispy on the outside and perfectly textured on the inside and well seasoned. If you cannot handle spicy it’s recommended to ask for mild spice for the hot stone soondobu seafood soup dish, and being located hundreds of kilometers from the ocean the seafood served was surprisingly fresh tasting. The gimbap was also surprisingly good, a simple dish and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend a visit and would go again.

This place has always been hit or miss, but after yesterday’s huge miss, no more chances unfortunately. Which is honestly disappointing because I’ve recommended this restaurant to so many people. The prices are fair, the menu has great variety, and when it’s good, it’s genuinely good.
Great food or not, this place is not safe for anyone with allergies, and after my experience with the chef and owner/management, I won’t be coming back.
I ordered the Cherry Blossom roll with no sesame, as i’m allergic, for take-out. The roll itself had none (great), but the order came with a side of sesame seaweed salad. I went back, apologized for returning it, but this is not what I ordered. Before returning it, I saw the seaweed salad touch parts of the roll. It’s oily and was packed in a paper cup, so cross-contamination was obvious.
I watched the chef take the salad out of the box and try to give me the same roll that had traces of the allergen. I explained to the hostess (who truly tried her best) that I couldn’t eat it due to a severe allergy. She told this and more to the chef, but he kept insisting it was fine and kept returning the same roll guaranteeing there was no cross-contamination… even though I saw it with my own eyes (???).
At this point, it’s clear the chef is not allergen-aware or simply doesn’t care. Naturally I just asked for a refund because I was uncomfortable with the whole situation and no longer trusted the food. The owner/management initially refused the refund, insisting the chef would just re-make it. After some back and forth (poor hostess I felt terrible), the owner/management finally refunded me… and then loudly threw a tantrum in the kitchen. While the chef stared me down from behind his glass cage, no less.
I’m so disappointed. This used to be a favorite spot, but after this, I won’t be returning.

Great assortment of Japanese food (poke, sushi, sashimi, ramen) and Korean food! Ordered a few items to share and all are very solid. Sushi was delicious with a side of fried mushrooms, lots of toppings although they do have more authentic nigiri-style sushi. Loved the beef bulgogi and japchae!! Really satisfied my craving for Asian food that day. Staff was also nice and efficient. Recommended if you are looking for good Asian food in Jasper

This is the best and most affordable sushi in town of Jasper . Very nice hospitality. Also friendly and peaceful environment. Love eating here with friends and by myself.
I love sushi rolls, one of the best is “ Amazing Roll” it is definitely my new favourite here.
