Zolo’s Italian restaurant is a family owned and operated restaurant, serving Franklin since July 2007.
We pride ourselves on serving only the freshest ingredients from the herbs and produce to our wide selection of seafood. Just about everything is made in house, even salad dressings. We buy from Franklin Farmers Market and many other local produce.
This dinner-only restaurant has an a la carte standing menu, plus daily specials. Drink specials are available as well. We serve by the glass or bottle or you can bring your own wine.
True member of the community, we support local efforts in all sorts of ways from non-profit organizations like A Vintage Affair to Sister Cities.
In quaint surrounds, candlelit Italian plating pastas & meats with import-heavy beer & wine list.

Not sure how this place is still in business… outdated, worn-out decor. Food is way overpriced, and I’ve had better lasagna that was frozen from kroger. $100 no drinks for 2 meals and 2 kids’ meals. No desert… no starter… just overpriced ok food. They don’t remove the shrimp tails, so you have to cut them off. Zero desire to go back. None of the silverware even matched. Each of us had a different style fork… fancy is the last word I’d use to describe this place.

We visited on a Saturday night. They were busy and they had live music. The server was quick. We loved the crispy artichoke appetizer, we tried some of their marinara, and it was good. The crab ravioli and pasta Alfredo with chicken were flavorful. I would definitely come back and try some other items.

My wife and I ate here to plan out a party that we are going to get catered. We tried 3 different main meal and I loved them all. I could have eaten until I got sick, but stopped because I knew I would have leftovers. We got the Lasagna, Chicken piccata and Tortellini Diablo. The tortellini was the best then the lasagna then piccata. We would definitely do all 3 again but with the spices of the Diablo it was just too far to reach. I want to thank our server Jake as he was super helpful on telling us how we should order things as far as freshness.

My daughter and I ate here for dinner, and it was great. I had tortellini, and it was very good. My daughter had the carbonara and she raved about it. We also did some cheese bread. It was simple, but it was done right. Sometimes the simple things are the hardest. I felt the marinara was a great balance of flavors, with a slight touch of sweetness to cut the acidity of the tomatoes. We also loved the singer. He was great, but not too loud, which is a complaint I often have of singers in a smaller space. We would eat here again.

Located a tad bit off of the main street scene is where you’ll find this spot! We showed up for an early dinner. Reservations ate recommendations as it seems to be a hot-spot. We chose not to have a view. But if you do ask in advance, apparently it’s a thing. The waitress was very nice and provided amazing service. The food took longer than expected to arrive but it was delicious.
The cheese bread reminded me of a pizza. So there’s that. Decor and vibe was a small mom and pop shop. Really enjoyed. Look forward to trying again!

The food is just meh. Honestly the best thing I had tonight was the salad. I ordered the lasagna. It looked like it was cooked in the microwave and the sauce was so sweet. My husband got spaghetti and meatballs and unfortunately ordered extra meatballs with it. Again the sauce was so sweet he couldn’t eat it and the meatballs, which I also tasted, something was off in them. we also ordered mozzarella sticks. The center of them was cold and again served with a very sweet marinara sauce.
2 people eating, and it was over 100. that is just crazy for what we got. My husband would not let me say anything to the waitress, he just wanted to get out of there. I am now sitting here at 9:15 and our stomachs are not feeling great. Sure wish we could get our money back!

This is by far the BEST Italian food I have ever eaten! And the service was amazing. From the sweet old man in overalls who greeted us at the door, to Cam, and Derrick our server— they were all wonderful and helped us to have a great experience! I got the Spicy Tortellini Diablo— and ya’ll it was to die for! The perfect amount of spice and so much flavor! I wish I lived closer and could come here often. Even the live music in the background was perfect. Go check them out!

Zolo’s Italian Restaurant was great! Located in Franklin, right at the square downtown. Desserts look delicious but we were too full to try them. The restaurant was decorated very nice. Lovely flowers on the tables. Chicken Parmigiana was delicious! Huge servings would be easy to share.
Be sure to try soon!

We ordered the eggplant parmesan, French onion soup, and double bruschetta. Food is average, except the bruschetta. That was delicious! Service is really good. Love the downtown Franklin atmosphere. Red table cloths and live music. Great date night, but not sure if we would go again.

Excellent service and food. We were amazed. It was out first time. We’ve tried bruschetta and rice balls as appetizer, I had shrimp Alfredo, restling wine and tiramisu with coffee for desert. Everything was amazingly delicious. We will surely be back. Strongly recommend. Waitresses were super friendly, effective and nice.
