Ok so my sister and I decided to try this place after seeing a friend post a picture of the food on her social media. We both ordered the shrimp tray with extra corn and eggs. The presentation of the food looked great and we couldn’t wait to try. Upon tasting I realized that the butter sauce on the shrimp and corn had no seasoning or taste to it other than the cayenne pepper and little garlic they used. There was no salt on the food which made it super bland. It was as if they just made the food look nice but the taste was not there. So I had to add my own seasoning to it to make edible. My sisters tray was mild and tasted the same way. Very disappointed considering we spent 40 dollars together. The shrimp was not over cooked which was a plus but the corn was not done in some areas and lacked seasoning as well.

First let me say, if you havent been here, shame on you. I always grab a snow crab tray, cup of shrimp, eggs, and corn. I am always happy with the food and I love their butter! Yes, I would love extra sauce please and thank you! Customer service here is excellent, so you will always be served with a smile!! I moved across town, but always come back to Arlington for great food!

I was visiting Jacksonville from out of town and decided to relive my Duval County days. I decided to stop for some crabs! I did a Google search to find a place open on Sunday and came across the R&R crab house. I want sure how this would work, but it all came together quite nice. They had on display each type of crab/ shrimp/ seafood plate you could order. All you had to do was choose. They have a certain number of cooked plates already prepared for each day. But you have an option to warm the plate after you purchase it. The reason I rated the service a4 and not a5 was because of a drastic misquote in the price of a plate. One of the plates on display didn’t have a price showing. When I pointed and asked how much, I was told 19.99. After ordering 3 of these plates for myself and family, the price was much more than I was expecting. $30 higher to be correct. The plates were artsy 29.99! It was for the crab combo. Now, it was everything I could have asked for and more, but I don’t like surprises and wish I was given the correct price the first time. My family and I enjoyed every bite. I would highly recommend.

They warmed my crabs up in microwave. If want crabs don’t go here . They need to change they style it’s to many other places with food seasoned crabs they not hitting . They should hire someone to revamp the seasoning and process . I’m surprised this place is still open . Wasted my 33$

The food was amazing. The first cashier seemed like he could care less. The second joked and got everything we needed. Ge was younger. They sold us quality blue crabs. Everything tasted amazing. Oysters did not need anything to company them. Literally food was perfect.

This is usually a place that I chose to get my seafood from when I’m in the Arlington area but today I have to say that it may be my last. I paid $42 for what was supposed to be a “LARGE” dozen of crabs but it turns out that they are actually small. I have to partly blame myself because I sent my teenage daughters in to order for me because I was on a work call at the time and didn’t think to look inside the bag at the crabs before leaving because for $42 a dozen you’d thing that you would be getting what you paid for. However in this situation it definitely wasn’t the case and when I called the guy told me that I should’ve looked in the bag before I left. If I was not back on the Westside where I reside I would’ve definitely been back at their counter with the whole dozen. I really hate leaving bad reviews for any business but this just really rubbed me the wrong way.
