The Irvine Grill is a restaurant that serves exceptional Mediterranean dishes. Their rack of lamb and koobideh are amazing. Their entrées come with salad and rice and they even provide bread basket with butter for free. Not to mention that their portions are big served on a large platter. We have been coming here regularly now and highly recommend this restaurant for their amazing food, reasonable prices, and excellent service! There tend to be a wait between 6 and 8 PM, especially on the weekends so come earlier if you want to skip the line.

Irvine Grill in the Quail Hill community is a cozy spot with great service and authentic Persian flavors. I tried the Abgoosht, and it was very good, rich in flavor and cooked perfectly, though a bit on the fatty side. To be fair, that’s just part of the traditional preparation, so it’s understandable. The portion was generous, the bread and sides were fresh, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and offers a nice neighborhood vibe. Party of 2 went for dinner on a Saturday in May. A portion of the restaurant was seemingly cut off for some event, and we had to wait around 30-40 minutes to get a table. We had arrived at 7pm. Once we were seated, service was quick. It was very loud in there, with lots of families and kids. I had the koobideh combo, and everything was delicious – the lamb and chicken were both very very good. They started with some house bread plus butter which I liked too. The serving size for the entree is huge.
Went again in June. Seated right away this time at 630pm on a Monday. Knew the serving size is huge, so stuck to kotlet appetizers this time. Didn’t like them as much as the koobideh. Friend had the chicken sultani and it looked delicious.
Went again for lunch of 4th of July and had the beef koobideh with rice. It was delicious.

Food was interesting. I has 3 stews. One was w sweet …it wasn’t horrible just different…I are 1 of the 3 stews. I like my food hot. Stew in my opinion should be hot when served. All of my were warm not Hot. Having said all that may e my palate is not used to the flavor…I’m from Detroit and Mediterranean food is my favorite…this was not Mediterranean that I was used to maybe more Persian that I am not familiar with. If you’re looking for different flavors maybe you will enjoy it more than me.

We live close by so we come here quite often. Love their food and their price. Portions are huge. Casual restaurant. It’s comfort food. Decent price for alcohol as well. It can get busy for rush hours. They do take walk in. But we always rsvp cuz we don’t want to wait for table. Plenty of parking in a parking lots.

Today, my family and friends had lunch at Irvine Grill, and it was an amazing experience.
We have eaten Persian food many times, all across Southern California.
But this place is truly special.
The food quality was excellent.
The portions were generous.
Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care.
The prices are very fair.
After COVID, many restaurants reduced quality just to save money.
This restaurant did the opposite.
They kept the quality high and the portions generous.
That truly changed my mindset and earned my respect.
The location is great, clean, and welcoming.
But what really touched us was the hospitality.
The owner and manager, Maliheh joon, is kind, warm, and professional.
You can feel her heart in the restaurant.
Our server, Mr. Alireza, was respectful, attentive, and friendly.
After COVID, we honestly have not experienced this level of service and generosity anywhere.
On the way home, we kept talking about how grateful we felt and how to say thank you.
This restaurant is not just about food.
It is about respect, care, and real Persian hospitality.
Highly recommended.
We will absolutely come back. ❤️

Great koobideh and barg. Ash Reshteh is great for soup. Lubia Polo is always a hit. Amazing Saffron ice cream. If you’re with a group recommend the Aria Platter for variety.
