I went to eat here with my mom as we did when we were younger and it was not it. Pupusas revueltas were too salty, to were my mom was not able to eat them. We waited nearly 30mins just to get a Togo plate for food left over all just cause he forgot yet we were the only ones inside. When paying I stood there 30 more mins just for him to ring me out. Also if you check your recites you can see he ups the prices by a few cents with out saying anything or changing the prices on the menu. Very rude customer service and did not even let my mom get her words out when ordering.

BAD is the best way to describe this place. There’s no real order on how food comes out. I ordered before multiple tables but I never got my food. I had to physically walk up to the counter multiple times and speak to two employees before they eventually brought my food. No im sorry, we are working on your food no nothing. I expressed my frustration to an older gentleman to which he said if you want to pay, pay if not dont, dont. SERIOUSLY, thats how you treat your customers? I will never waste my time at this place again they are a MESS! And yes Im going to pay for my food I am not here for a freebies!

My parents picked this food up on their way home from work (we don’t live in the area). Instead of refunding us the money for the food purchased, the restaurant manager wanted us to deliver the food back to the restaurant. When my mom stated it was too far or if she could just send a picture of the food by text, the manager said she could bring it tomorrow. Who would keep fish, eggs, etc. for a day, carry it around in their car until after work, just to hand over food that was not ordered in the first place?! Ridiculous and super unprofessional. Moreover, with COVID-19 this is a health violation and super concerning. I wouldn’t trust the food they are serving at this restaurant. Maybe they’ll sell you some of their day old fish too.

If I’m ever craving pupusa, this is my go-to spot. I’ve been coming here for over a decade, that is how good they are.

Shout out to the guy working the window on July 4th who took my order even though they were already closed for the day. I didn’t realize they were closed and was totally okay with leaving so that the employees could enjoy their 4th but he insisted on taking the order anyway. Life has been life’ing lately and small kind gestures like that make a huge difference. Appreciate yall!

Check out the cheese pull on these pupusas though

This is my second time here and I’ve been having a hard time with locating a menu online, that just tells me this place is a mom and pop type place and their food must be bussin. Today was my second time eating from here. The first time, my husband got us Pupusas to-go and they were delicious! Today I went to pick up Pupusas and I took a picture of the menu so I can have it for future reference. You’re welcome lol

Food was great here, only thing that needs improvement is the curtido. Other than that food was delicious. They also sell pan dulce!

Went to try the pupusas for the first time and let me tell you right now. These are the best chicharon pupusas I have had besides my own mothers! They are so flavorful and each bite was heaven. Service was 10/10 super nice staff.

Love this place! Yeah yeah I know, it may not be appealing from the outside. But, this place is a diamond in the rough! If you like tamales, the ones they serve are some of the best tamales ever!!! So moist, and good. Now for the best part, papusas. What is a papusas you ask? The best way I can explain it is, it is like a gordita stuffed with cheese and the meat of your choice. Plus it comes with a pickled cabbage. Not all pickled cabbage I have found out is the same. The way they make it is great! So if you have passed by this place like I have for years, and never stopped by. Now is the time, it is definitely a staple!

I live in Corsicana TX . Was in the city of Richland for an appt. Googled best pupusas nearby , saw this hidden gem on line . If this type of food was not made by Salvadorans themselves, it will be a hard pass for me….. This is hands down an authentic Salvadorian Restaurant !!!!
The Elote Tamales!! They were soft and moist !!
Pupusas of cheese w/lorroco, and pork/cheese/bean pupusas were stuffed generously !!!! So much flavor !!!! Great Pricing for their delicious food

Atmousphere of this severely dated facility is extremely “no frills”, but clean and well kept. Had the Salvadoran breakfast. Excellent. There is opportunity for a covered patio, not sure why they haven’t capitalized on that. If they sold alcohol and setup the patio, I would eat here on the regular. Will definitely be back for the fantastic food.
