My fiancé and I visited The Westin Resort Malta for our engagement dinner, together with my brother and his wife, and we had an unforgettable experience. Went for dinner around 6:30. Quite quiet at the time. Service was great and food was delicious. Ordered the arancini, carbonara and gnocchi. Portion sizes were enormous! Could be smaller. We couldn’t eat everything.

We wanted to try it because of the high reviews it has. We were also so tired and wanted some place around the corner. It’s a restaurant that serves an hotel (Westin) and you can of course expect the high traffic from the resident guests.
The place it self is very nice, on the sea, nice breath and ambience.
The service tho was questionable.
After ordering we got the bread basket without any dips for 30 mins until i had to ask for some olive oil or so, my request was quickly answered. The dip is phenomenal.
We ordered the Bolognese and Calamarata pastas with a bruschetta as a starter and alcohol free beer.
Again, 30 mins until the bruschetta was served, and another 30 to 40 mins until the main dishes.
We were already losing our appetite so we couldn’t finish the plates.
The prices are of course higher than usual.
Over all it is a nice place, good food abut nothing special.

Absolutely amazing place top to bottom, Sabit the manager is a great professional! We had our wedding anniversary dinner and they took care of every detail thoroughly, couldn’t have asked for more. Kind gestures of proseccos upon arrival from the entity were also greatly appreciated!

Bit disappointing from the get go. We had a reservation made and were still told to wait for a table to be available. We did only wait about 5 minutes but it’s still a bit frustrating when you go and make a reservation to avoid all of this.
Onto the food, some of the dishes like this starter pasta were good but other things like the espresso and chicken were average. The staff were nice and friendly, and the atmosphere was good. The food prices were also fair, it’s just a shame that the food was pretty basic. Not terrible just average.
Would give this place another chance but wouldn’t be running back

We had a decent experience on our recent visit to Malta at this restaurant. We were staying at the Westin and pre-booked before going.
The ambience and service was great.
Some food dishes were great but some could be improved:
– Calamari: was lovely!
– Gnocchi: was delicious!
– Pizza: was very underwhelming. The sauce was a bit bland and the base could be improved both in terms of the flour and the baking.
– Tiramisu; was super tasty!
Would recommend this restaurant but with some caveats around the dishes you order.
