If I could rate it a zero… I would.
Service was slow as molasses to start. Close to 45 minutes just to get a salad. Not sure if they were freshly harvesting the lettuce from the fields of Europe or what.
This is our second time visiting because, I understand sometimes you have an off night/experience. Our second time was worse than the first.
The Steaks for being a “Steakhouse” are subpar for the cost in all honesty. Not sure what some of these n other reviews are ranting about. A 16 dollar old fashion plus a dollar for a luxardo??? You have to charge extra for a cherry??? It’s a 16 dollar drink for petes sake. Don’t get me started on the bread pudding. It tasted like they scooped it off the neutral ground after Endimion and drizzled some Bourbon st. curb juice on it. I can’t believe I paid for this overpriced joint not once but twice. Ya got me but, ya won’t get me again.

The Steakhouse is the ultimate dining experience in Hammond. Impeccable service, atmosphere, and Omg the food! My fiancé always gets the filet, I get the crab cakes. His steak is always perfect, medium, medium. The crabcakes are like no others here on the Northshore. They remind me of home in NOLA. My grandmother worked at a crab processing factory and knew exactly how to make the perfect crab cakes. The Steakhouse uses LA seafood & the crabcakes are loaded with white lump crabmeat just as my grandmother did. The steakhouse atmosphere is really nice, almost romantic. Definitely recommend for adults. We go once a month to dine here and have always had an excellent experience. Ooh and I almost forgot their bread pudding is to die for too! Reserve your table for hardly any wait. I have to say only thing is I would not bring my kids here. They much rather be home eating frozen pizza, so why waste the $ on them now, save it because once they find out what they been missing you will have to bring them along too! lol

Great steakhouse, centrally located to an amazing area. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re interested in a steak while near the university. Priced reasonable and portions are appreciable. While I found the ribeye steaks tasty and cooked to perfect, the thicker filet was a bit overcooked. At the table, we also had the tuna, which looked to be cooked perfect to the order. Stuffed mushrooms and onion rings are definitely a must try option. While overall our party was pleased, I was a bit disappointed by the side dishes. Creamed spinach and sweet potato were both luke warm and not in the same culinary category as the meal.
Stop o this place out. Get an order of mushrooms and a slab of meat. Enjoy.

Great experience and the waiter was very attentive. Went on a weekend and it wasn’t overly saturated with people. The prices are good and they had a few options for specials whish is always nice!

Food was not great and definitely not worth the price. The steaks, while tender, didn’t taste very good and had the weirdest texture I’ve ever had from a filet. The taste of them was as if they had put absolutely nothing on them and then charred the hell out of them. The only taste I got was the “grill” char marks -which I can only imagine they made with a metal bar they heated up and pressed on it to give the impression they use a grill.
The Dakota in Covington is just a little more pricey but overall cost/what you get is infinitely better.
Drinks were just okay. Old fashioned comes with maraschino cherries normally and they up-charge $1 to put lux cherries in it. So your $14 drink becomes a $15 drink when you can spend $12 down the road for a much better tasting old fashioned at RW&B.
Cheesy broccoli came out undercooked and just had bagged shredded cheese on top for quite the up-charge to add it as a side.
Mostly empty restaurant with a 13 top in the back – took us (2 people) an hour waiting to even order and another 40 minutes for the food just for it to come out not great. Luckily I was given a $100 gift card so I only spent $118 when it was all said and done.

The Cinnamon scented candle was a little Overpowering. Small containers for ketchup, & the tiniest amount of butter & sour cream I’ve ever had on a baked potato. French Onion Soup would have made the meal perfect. Filet melted in your mouth! Salad really needs help though. Mushrooms, sautéed would have also made the meal better. Mushroom soup was fairly good. Baked potato was the softest I have had at a restaurant in a very long time! Also had to ask for salt & pepper, ketchup, & butter & sour cream. Once we got our food, the Waier disappeared

This was a very nice place with excellent food. We went after a dance recital by my niece and the food was awesome as well as the service. The place was very clean and very safe as well. I was very delighted to eat and such a nice place with such nice people. Just a great overall experience from people like me that are from Chicago. Would go back there in a heartbeat. Loved everything about it.

By far the best steak you’re going to find in the Hammond area. Disregard the reviews saying the steak was just ok. I have eaten at all the best restaurants around here Baton Rouge, and New Orleans and you’re not going to beat this place. Service is always on spot and all the food is excellent!

If I could give a zero star review for this place, I definitely would. Don’t waste your time going, which it takes A LOT of time. Went for my birthday dinner with my husband. Start off by saying it took 45 MINUTES to get just our first drink. So needless to say we were ready to order. Ordered two appetizers and then a filet and a New York strip. Sat for another hour waiting. Filet was cooked to the correct temperature but very very bland. The New York strip, on the other hand, was anything but. We are 99% sure I was served a pork chop. Never got asked for refills the whole 3 hours we were there and then given a $140 check. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!! On top of that, you have to be dressed nice to even sit in a very basic, not at all “fancy” environment.
