I took my mother and other mothers here for Mothers day. I made a reservation in the morning and walked in at my reserved time and our table was ready in 5 minutes whilst walkins had to wait 25-45 minutes. The service and food was great even through a Mother’s day rush. Will definitely be going back.

Aug 11,2017 Had wonderful celebration with 25 people .The private dining room has a homely atmosphere. Wonderful service. Michael and Janie were nice and fast in serving us. They anticipated our needs. Food is excellent. One of my friend told me this is the best lasagna. My husband loved the meatball.. so good.Everyone liked the food and happy to have left over to bring home. Thank you To the managers Darren and Brian whom I talked to as I prepare for my birthday party. They were nice and very helpful. I will surely recommend this place. The prices of the menu are reasonable and not expensive. The menu I selected were all so delicious.

This was my wife and I first experience with Johnny Carino’s (8.3.18) and it was very good. Our waitress, Shellie was awesome, she offered several dishes and “Italian Sodas”(Blackberry was the best) for us to consider and was prompt with all of our food choices, from appetizers to entrees and even the carry-out. The portion size was amazing(I didn’t finish my seafood fettuccine and needed a carry-out box which rarely ever happens), not only that, the food had very good flavor. My wife enjoyed the bread and olive oil that comes to the table to start. We will definitely return to this restaurant, the ambiance is laid back which I prefer. The only thing that kept the rating from a 5-star was the chicken on the nachos was slightly cold, everything else was on point.

Went during lunch time hours, place was not crowded.
Try the Italion pot roast, the meat is tasty and tender. I had the 16 layer lasagna and it was the best lasagna I’ve had in awhile.
They have spirits also and all kinds of wines and they have soda too.
Prices are a little above average but the quality of food is worth it as it is much better than you’ll find elsewhere.

Usually I do not leave bad reviews but my last visit to this place was absolutely terrible. The waitress rarely checked on our table. The chicken and potatoes balls taste like onion. And the potatoes were burnt not charged. When we asked the waitress to take the wheel off the bill because it was absolutely terrible she didn’t bother asking if we wanted anything to replace said meal. The manager on duty was very polite and willing to correct the bad situation.

My family and I are from Indiana and had to travel to Michigan for a couple weeks for work. We stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try. With an eighteen month old in tow, we’re very apprehensive about new restaurants and their atmospheres that might cater to children. We were very pleased! Our server, Megan was amazing. She was very tentative and never disappointed us. Having many years of serving experience, it’s not often I come across wait staff that are up to par. She was quite impressive and my son loved her, also. Everything, from the drinks to the food, was incredible. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!

It started with being seated, told them we had 4 people, table was set up for 2. We were waiting on 2 more to meet us there. Had to ask for more silverware after getting the bread. Watched the app placed on counter, the manager and waitress looked at counter and never brought it to us. Once we got it, I refused it because it was cold, waitress said she take it off bill. Good thing I looked at bill before paying cause it wasn’t removed. Had to ask a few times for water, took forever to get refills. Bread was served without knife. All in all not a good experience. Food was mediocre.

Server was amazing, wine was great, but the food was NOT good at all. Went to dinner with 6 other people and we all tried each others food and the salmon and veggies were the only thing good about the 6 entrees we got. The chicken was rubbery, lasagna noodles pretty dry, angel hair pasta with artichoke & capers totally bland Idk if this was a bad day or what.

We went at lunch, my husband and I both had chicken parm and it was delicious. The waitress (Betty) was very nice and warm and I appreciated that very much! I asked for more sauce for my noodles and without asking she brought an extra for my husband. I thought that was a nice thing to do!

Very nice and helpful servers, but they were short-staffed, which caused several small snafus (wrong and forgotten orders, vegetables greasy when asked for extra dry). The restaurant was packed with only 2 servers seen. We will go back as we have had excellent dinners in the past. But if this continues, then we won’t go back and pay these prices. Management will lose customers if they cut down on their wait staff— and we saw them working diligently during the time we were there.
