I was in Buffalo for just a few days, but after talking to the locals – they highly recommended checking out Duende… and I’m so happy they did! The aesthetic is beautiful, patrons all so friendly (as was everyone I met in Buffalo), and I had the privilege of having Duende’s very first order to buffalo wings the day they introduced their fried foods menu! Everything from the drinks, food, atmosphere, and people were amazing. If you’re ever in the area, you gotta visit this spot!

I’m so glad I stumbled upon Duende during a quick trip to Buffalo. Tucked away in an industrial stretch where you’d never expect to find such a lively bar scene, it turned out to be a real gem. Gabriel, the bartender, was incredibly warm and attentive, and the mix of locals and live musicians gave the place a cozy, lived‑in charm. The food was genuinely good, too. A wonderful surprise all around.

This place is awesome! I enjoyed a few craft beers with live music and the setting sun casting its glow on the surrounding grain silos. Duende was one of my favorite stops during my four-day trip to Buffalo.

My wife and I went for a drink and to look at their event space upstairs. They offer a large beer selection and the bartenders were helpful and very cool. Great live music, great ambiance, awesome space upstairs for a party.

Outdoor and indoor seating available at this off the grid live music venue and pub.
Set at the end of Silo City, you may find it a bit difficult to drive to. The whole area is being revamped so things are changing daily.
This bar and restaurant is actually really cool. I didn’t get to see any live music or shows while I was there, but they are certainly set up to do so. Looks bit alternative to soft punk. They have a notice board with fliers of upcoming events.
Full bar with extensive beer list. Food menu is available but I just had a pint and left. Above average prices but they are still fairly new and growing.

Rhustic cocktail looking bar inside, a more casual cantina serving beer and wine outside with a small seating area, the backyard is what sets it apart. Nice seating area with a stage, great live music. The female bartender at the cantina was super friendly and provided great customer service.

Super cool spot back in “Silo City” off Ohio Street. Be careful, the entrance to go back to the establishment is somewhat hidden off Ohio Street between the First Ward and the Outer Harbor, so look closely or you’ll miss it. After a short drive back, you happen upon Duende, which constitutes two main (detached) buildings and a really nice enclosed lawn with a small stage. We were only there for cocktails – their menu is extensive, and their draft beer options are diverse enough. I have heard good things about their food, but have yet to try. Will definitely return – a fun, unique, and cozy spot with tons of character (inside and out).

The vibes here are wonderful, private event space upstairs. The bar is packed, but they still seem to serve everyone fairly quickly. Friendly staff and warm environment.

There was live music the Saturday afternoon we went. It was lovely & we had the chance to talk to the performers after their set. Both they and the staff were very nice. It was a gorgeous day, so we took advantage of their outdoor seating.

Cool spot nestled within the towering silos (within Silo City). Inside of an old administration building, the two story structure has been renewed while keeping many of it historical elements. It is located just at the end of the road and seems a little sketchy driving to it, but don’t worry it is just ongoing construction in the adjacent towers.
All of the staff are friendly and unique. Ben hooked us up with cocktails. The menu is currently limited but tasty. The pulled pork was tasty. Craft cocktails are available along with a nice mix of IPA’s and some wine selections too.
Relax indoors or head outside to the cantina to relax on the patio, or in the grove area where there is often live music. We have been hear a couple times and we’re not disappointed. Get out and try them on. It’s a unique experience you won’t regret.
Bonus:. There is a gallery located on the 2nd floor for art lovers.
