Grover Beach’s best kept secret. It’s rarely busy which doesn’t make sense. Great traditional Mexican food with a true chefs touch for flavors and details. What blows my mind every time is the house made hand crafted cocktails and exclusive tequila list. It’s an absolute must is to speak with Gabriel if he’s in: a chill connoisseur of all things alcohol who does his homework to bring in the high quality alcohol you didn’t know you were missing. Also, their two signature drinks are canned in house and available to-go. Try the Mexican Sake, the G4 Tequilas, and anything on their food menu. Don’t mean to be fangirling buuuut…

Best Chili Verde I’ve had in a while. The Staff is wonderful. The food is so flavorful and delicious. If you like it spicy just tell your Waitress and she’ll let the Cook know. Highly recommend anyone visiting the area to give this place a shot.

I have always loved this place. But tonight we were really disappointed. I have been coming to this place for many years and never had bad meal. Until tonight. No flavor, they charged us for extras ( we asked for) but didn’t get ( 24 bucks for one disappointing taco salad?!?) Prices out of control . I feel like there are a lot better places around here.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a kind woman who guided me to a booth and took my order (a hamburger) she gave me my salsa, chips and my horchata then I was left to wait. I waited and waited for about 20 to 30 minutes and never got my food so I just decided to put a 20 on the table and walk out. I don’t know if that’s usual waiting times or not but I could’ve made that faster at home, still good service at least.

I eat at La Casita 2 or 3 times per month. The food is great and I really enjoy how friendly the owner and servers are. Ingrid treats everyone at the restaurant as though they are her friends… And many of them are. She visits with almost everyone that sits down to eat. Came from out of town; first time there today. Chips and salsa was BOMBBBBB!! Not too spicy, warm chips, best salsa I’ve had in YEARS! Waitress checked on us multiple times. I got the enchilada suizas and my mom got the mole enchiladas with a ground beef crunchy taco. Everything was bomb! And apparently they do karaoke on Thursday and Friday nights lol who knew. That was an interesting experience hahahha

Service was amazing got our table rite away and the server was very attentive to our every need. The owner was very polite and made sure our food was perfect. The flavor was out of this world authentic with hand made corn tortillas. We will definitely return.
