absolutely adore this place, foods always fantastic, service has always been even better. owner is in her 90s, comes in to work sun up to sun down every single day, plus makes the specials of the day her own self.

I was looking for a nice little place to take the family. This looked like that kinda place. It started with the waitress taking our drink order and wondering off mid order and bringing half the drinks while telling us she thinks she forgot to get all of us. I then try to order the special of the day, fried cod. I was told this isn’t ready and they won’t make it, but then the waitress recommends the fried cod sandwich instead (if anyone can make sense of that, I’m all ears). So at this point I order a cheeseburger, because it’s very hard to mess that up. This burger was disgusting. Water filled frozen patties with rancid mayo (not even tartar like advertised). I made it one bite in and had to push it away. My wife mentioned she had never, ever seen me push away a cheeseburger in 16 years together. Stephen’s Old Village is definitely a place I would advise others to avoid and I will for certain not be going back. Fries weren’t bad though.

I was passing threw and decided to stop in for breakfast first off I’ll start by saying there customer serves could use some help. So I ordered pancakes, eggs and bacon the pancakes where so rubbery it was like my 8 year old daughter made them my eggs I asked for scrabbled I got over easy my bacon burt all around the food was horrible I won’t ever be eating there again the kitchen staff look like they where just having a good old time.

1st time dinning at Stephen’s, waitress went beyond the call of duty, had my 3 year old great granddaughter, who was in a mood, who went next door and got a coloring book and crayons to make her happy, Karl ordered a double decker which was loaded, he took half home. I ordered the fish hoagy which was cooked perfectly, will definitely be back

This place is not welcoming to African American people at all! Walked in here was not greeted at all like all the other customers the caucasian woman looked me up and down and frowned the entire time I was standing there! She started organizing the tables with silverware. I should have known by then she definitely didn’t want to service me! I asked for a menu she said grab one off the table.I asked her is there a manager she said I’m the manager! I asked her is this establishment not welcoming to “ African American” people? Because this is not was definitely not welcoming place for us! And because you have to give stars this the only reason there was stars given! I didn’t experience anything here good!

Walked in and grabbed a table. After sitting there for a good 10 minutes, the server came up and said that they closed at 7. The hours on the door and Google said 8. The server stated they were done cooking. There were tables around me that were still waiting on and receiving their food. I really feel like they didn’t want to serve my friend and I based on our appearance. I will NEVER come here again. They have lost my business. I’d give zero stars if I could!

Was in town for a softball tournament and found this wonderful place. Large group of us came to check it out. The turkey club could barely fit in my mouth it was so large. Pancakes bigger then your head. Best Ruben found in a long time. Those are just a few of the comments we as a group had.
