I’m rating them upset – they forgot to put my burrito in the bag. We ordered food to go, I was excited to try the burritos we read about in the SF Chronicle. I got home and no burritos! The spicy guacamole was good. My son liked the SOS burger.

We have ordered chicken falafel from you many times with my husband and everything was always fine.
Unfortunately, after yesterday’s order I had a severe food poisoning !

It’s very unfortunate this happened ,I hope it was just an isolated case.

We accidentally ordered from the wrong local kitchen. So we called immediately to ask to cancel the order, and they were still extremely adamant that we cannot get our money back. So we were just out 90 dollars. This feels like really bad customer service because we called so urgently after to cancel the order. I feel like to be so inflexible is very unreasonable and almost dishonest.

Something for Everyone—and No Arguments!
I love when a spot has enough variety to keep everyone happy—and this place delivered! Every person in our household found something they loved, without a single debate about where to eat.

The prices are super reasonable, the food was fresh and flavorful, and everything we ordered hit the mark.

Top picks from our visit? The Sweet Onion Burger and the Strawberry Matcha—both were absolutely delicious!

It’s wonderful to have some favorite SF joints just a few minutes away. Square Pie Guys’ focaccia-style pizzas are crispy and hit the spot. A great excuse not to drive into the city.

We just tried Local Kitchens. Was a great concept. We ordered a salad from Proposition Kitchen, pizza from Square Pie Guys and cookies for dessert from Sweet Onion Burger. Everything was really delicious. We can’t wait to try the other offerings.

Decent food options here, but what rubbed me the wrong way is that this is a ghost kitchen and the way they set up their point-of-service terminal is that it defaults to leaving a 15% tip.

Keep in mind: I am inputting my own order, picking up my own order, and bussing my own tray. That said, for what reason is a 15% tip the default option? To the owner of Local Kitchens: please think through this and look at it from the standpoint of the customer and ask yourself does it make any sense at all?

I have no problems with tipping when there is a service provided, but businesses like this that are not providing a service and not only ask for a tip but set it as a default option are part of the problem as to why tipping in America has gotten out of hand.

The best way to respond is by not giving business to such establishments and with so many options in the food & beverage space, I’d rather go elsewhere.
