I dropped off a ride at a Mexican restaurant that looked a little out of my budget for tonight, but it was time to eat, so I decided to drive down Mitchell Street in search of a taco truck. Instead, I happened upon this little gem and decided to check it out, partly because that meant that I could use the bathroom.
When you’re an Uber or Door Dash driver, finding a bathroom, especially a clean or safe one, is quite the challenge, especially the later it gets in the night and depending upon what part of town you’re in.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. My dinner was delicious, it is very clean, the music was good, and everyone was polite and worked with me on my so-so Spanish. My tummy is full and my heart is happy!

Absolutely phenomenal food and service. I’ve tried half the menu at this point, and not a single thing disappoints. Good portions and fair pricing make this worth the 20 minute drive for me. Seriously THE best chorizo in Milwaukee.
