I went to Summit Restaurant with my family and a friend, and it honestly felt like the right choice from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere is calm, quiet, and welcoming — the kind of place where you can actually enjoy a meal and conversation without distractions. The food was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care, which really set the tone for a great night.
What really made the experience stand out was our waiter, Matt. He carried himself with true professionalism but also had that genuine kindness that makes you feel looked after rather than just served. He was attentive without hovering, and his timing and approach made everything smooth and enjoyable. Service like that is rare these days, and it left a strong impression.
Summit has that combination of good food, a comfortable setting, and service that makes you want to come back again.

Our server was Abdala (forgive me if I spelled that incorrectly!), and he was amazing. Very attentive and timed our meal perfectly. The atmosphere was very calm and pleasant. As for the food, we really liked it! The baked brie was a little underdone, the caesar salads were amazing, and our entrees were very good. We thought it was very interesting how the dishes had a specific signature that they did very well. We overall really enjoyed the restaurant and loved our server! 🙂

This place feels like it’s on the way out. It took over an hour to get the food. We weren’t brought menus. We ordered a medium steak and it came out well done. Portion sizes were very small for both appetizer and entree. Food quality was cheap. It just feels like a place that used to be good but is now slowly dying

Brie appetizer was not cooked well and the outer wax was not removed from the top to allow for ease of eating. New York Strip Steak ordered medium rare, served with bone in and was cooked to medium well then didn’t have another strip steak so given a ribeye steak that was then not seasoned or cooked and was not quality enough cut of meat to be tender. Mashed potatoes with a grainy texture to suggest overboiling the potatoes. Wine by the glass had a fly in it noticed after one drink. Nothing offered about not having the correct steak or issue with wine, nor any apology or checking in after the issue from anyone other than the server. Wine and beer list also not up to date with what was in stock. Moscato not available with no comparable alternative. Server was very kind, attentive, and the only positive to the experience.

Celebrated my 1 year wedding anniversary and we were happy after leaving.
The night began with garden salad and pumpkin soup. The garden salad with raspberry balsamic had a good taste. The pumpkin soup was sweet and salty that was a good combination of flavor that was paired great with the warm dinner rolls. The hummus was a delicate taste with a nice touch of lemon. The lamb was perfect done at medium rare, the vegetables were steamed perfectly that it had a nice crunch once biten. The lobster was a perfect with risotto and the vegetables were again steamed perfectly. Lastly the dessert- the mousse chocolate cake was unmistakably the right finished. The creme brulee was creamy and sweet with the right touch of caramelized sugar. I would happily lick the plate clean next time.

We booked a dinner for Valentine’s Day and when we arrived we were informed that there would be a Valentine’s Day menu for 80 dollars per person and were not informed ahead of time. My wife has gluten and dairy allergies so we were unable to eat without spending 80 dollars on a small steak Absolutely no communication and Waffle House level service from the hostess wearing a sweatshirt and was unable to compromise on the allergies would not recommend. Will not be coming back.

No clue what the food tastes like. Made reservations. Hours online and on the door reflect that restaurant we open. We get there and there was junk everywhere outside the building. The door was locked. Hit the doorbell just assuming it was a mistake. Kid came down the stairs hollering for someone. An older gentleman appears and tells us they’re closed and they cancelled the online reservations. I told him that there was no notification that the reservation was cancelled as my husband checked the reservation when the door was locked. He apologized and was very nice, but this was poor business management and by reading some other recent reviews appears to be a new normal. Always wanted to eat there and now I don’t plan to go back

Went for Christmas dinner with a party of 4 and all 4 us enjoyed it. The filet mignon was the best we have ever had, The crab cake and chicken were flavorful and delicious. We weren’t crazy over the chocolate flourless cake but we will definitely go back.

The food was fantastic. Great menu selections excellently prepared. My problem was with the service. While our waiter was very attentive, service was ridiculously slow. I enjoy a leisurely dinner, but 20 minutes to get wine? Forty minutes to get bread and a salad? Plan on at least two hours for dinner, more if you opt for dessert, which we did not. Not that they were overly busy, there were only eight of us in the entire restaurant. While a beautiful setting, the ambience was less than great due to several young children running up and down the main hallway shouting. Since none of the diners came in with children I assume they were related to the staff. While it was a great meal, I would never eat here again and can’t recommend.
