Solid spot for Vietnamese food in Comox. Not exceptional, but decent and satisfying.

Rating based on what we ordered. Our first time trying them. Food was good. Appy roll was good, esp with the sauce. The pho soups were good as well. We’ve had better but this was good considering there’s only a handful of Vietnamese restaurants in CV+CR. Only qualm is, two pho servings should equal to two serving plates of basil and bean sprouts. Not sure if they made this one plate more for two people but we had to share and we definitely would’ve loved to have that one plate amount for each person also, they are cash only which wasn’t an issue for us but they really need a sign for it out front. Server and owner were nice to us. Would visit again next time we crave pho esp in the winter

Probably the best Vietnamese restaurant I’ve ever eaten. The soup has a variety of spices, but they go so well with each other. The various sauces on the table also have their own personality. The atmosphere of the store is unique and the service is good

The only stumbling block at this place is the fact that they only accept cash, which you can easily cover if you’re ready for it. Service is extremely quick – if you order salad rolls you’ll be eating in five minutes, and if you don’t you’ll be eating in less than ten.
The menu is on the small side but everything on it is a winner, with attentive and polite staff and truly awful decor that’s worth coming to experience on its own. Pistachio green walls, posters that are probably older than I am, and statuettes lining the wall between the seating area and the cash register. It hasn’t changed since I’ve first been there and I never want it to.

When looking at the Google reviews, it doesn’t look like much, but this spot is incredible. The pho was rich with flavour, the spring rolls were warm and fresh, and the service was impeccable. The only con I can think of is, that payment was cash only, and there wasn’t a sign when you first walked in. Other than that, it was incredible and I will definitely be coming back!

I have lived in Courtenay for 17.5 years now. And I’ve been coming to Saigon for 16 years. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. Delicious food, too!!!! I have recommended this restaurant to so many people, be it friends, family, and even strangers
