This place is so good! The food was amazing. I’m allergic to fish and found plenty to eat. But definitely recommend everything that they are known for including cheesy grits, collard greens, cornbread, pork chops, and my friends had awesome fish. I tried the chefs challenge, I told them what I was allergic to and they brought out an amazing plate with two bacon pork chops, grits, Brussels sprouts, kale, and a huge pile of mashed potatoes. It was so good! Eat here. Well worth the drive. Chef, owner and sous chef were awesome!!

We had a delightful experience at O So Good. The waitress and chef were very friendly and talkative. The food was very tasteful. We had the cheesy shrimp, the buffalo burger with the onion rings at #2. Appetizer, pickles wrapped with bacon were delicious. The desert ended a great experience.

AMAZING our first visit here and it was stunning. The Chef’s Challenge was excellent. Steak burger was o so satisfying and the butter cake might have made the earth stop rotating while it melted in my mouth. It was that good. Absolutely outstanding. Support local owned and pay in cash this meal was worth it.

Very busy! Make sure to make a reservation and wait was longer but we expected it and enjoyed taking in the atmosphere and escaping the busy world! So much heart from the cooks – presentation was pristine and they were smiling and laughing. Clearly love what they do Kudos to all staff!

My family and I went with some out of town guests, looking of course to impress them. It happened that the restuarant was closed. My dad explained our situation and the owner, who is the nicest and most amazing human being, cooked the most amazing dinner for our entire party!! We chose the Chef’s Challenge (list a few things you like, a few things you don’t and the level of spice and let the chef create a unique dish for you) and were in awe of the chef’s talent and technique! Everything was absolutely delicious! For dessert we shared the gooey butter cake and pineapple cheesecake. Wow, all homemade and super yummy!! Our guests were very impressed and the experience was wonderful and memorable!! We all can’t wait to go back to support this superior local business!!

Being nationally recognized restaurant close by, the wife and I had to try (we did an order to go). I had their Chicken and Waffles, which was delicious and full of wonderful sweetness. My wife had their apparently super popular Cajun Seafood Pasta, which was a bit unassuming for such a popular dish. The seafood had flavor but not really any in the noodles. We also had their Crab Cakes, which again we spot on with the flavour! If you live close by and you haven’t had O So Good yet, it is definitely worth it!

Food was exactly what the name of the restaurant is, “O SO GOOD”! Place was full, required reservation makes a lot of sense. Id you live outside of Garretson, SD, it is worth the drive and worth the wait. This will be an unregretable trip. Food is full of flavor and menu not complicated. Staff is very friendly, courteous, attentive and respectful. Open kitchen, so you get to watch the owner, Omar Thornton, cook the delicious food. The Live Music is an unmatched entertainment. Highly recommend visiting this Gem!

I’ve been here several times since it’s inception. Absolutey fantastic food! The atmosphere is welcoming. Chef Tom was incredible tonight. The rattlesnake sausage? So tasty. The spice? On point. Looking forward to the drive again. I would reccomend this gem to anyone who loves food. Try the Chef challenge. It’s always different and it takes the pain of having to make up your mind. This place is eclectic, cozy, and soul warming. From the staff to the chef, amazing food and drink. It is a beer and wine license only. But they bring tasty local stuff in. Follow on facebook for thier hours as during the winter it can fluctuate. Also if it’s the weekend, plan on a little wait, but I PROMISE , it’s worth it! ❤ if you are ever in Garretson, SD and dont stop by here, you are missing out… picture of the jerk chicken
