Me and my wife attend bingo every Wednesday night at Farrell’s in West Islip We love the atmosphere, food and the people here are great. The DJ Pat that hosts bingo is awesome he keeps the atmosphere alive all night long. I highly recommend coming here on Wednesday nights Pat really can draw a crowd so get here early cuz the the place packs out. There’s always something going on here at Farrell’s.

Went there for Halloween had a great time . Had the buffalo wings and a couple of beers. The band was also really good. Service was excellent owner hooked me up with a buyback beer. PS I won first place costume .

I usually just stop into Farrells for a beer or two after doing food shopping at the small local supermarket that shares the same parking lot. But today I came in for a late lunch and around 4PM.
I had heard that the burgers here are excellent and that there’s a special on 1/2 price burgers on Mondays & Thursdays. Since it’s a holiday and I’m home from work I figured it would be the perfect time to try the food here.
The half pound burger is huge and absolutely delicious! I ordered mine done medium and topped with blue cheese. It is incredible and I’m still trying to finish it!
I’m definitely planning on coming back sometime to try the rest of their menu.
PS – I finally finished my burger and I’m stuffed!

Found myself meeting someone at Farrells, in West Islip, this evening..
They called and canceled while I was waiting for them to show up, so I ate alone ♂️
I ordered the burger my usual medium rare, with cheddar, the bun toasted, and fries extra crispy..
Holy Moly, was I surprised about how good this burger is.
My surprise came from me never hearing from anyone that Farrells had a good burger!!! I think Gerry Ryan let me down on this one.
And, I asked for an Old Fashioned, and was told ” “they dont make them” Irish bar, so I’ll cut them some slack ☘ Fair enough, I had a Harp, which I thoroughly enjoyed, cold, crisp, and fresh
The burger came to me a near perfect medium rare. Kudos to the Chef!
The taste of the meat hit all my tastebud cylinders.
Salty, earthy, unctuous tastes, were all there.
I’m not sure what Brand Angus they use, but it’s a definite winner, in my mind.
You could tell they “hand press” this hamburger, in house; just from seeing, and tasting the loose structure of the meat as it sat in the bun.
Not Top 5, but definitely a “Top 10” on my Burger scale Excellent burger.
Good price, as well, $15.25, with fries
I think they need a new pretzel bun, but that’s just one man’s opinion. It wasnt bad, but…
The hand cut fries were also really good…Very crispy on the outside, pillowy soft, and a prominent potatoy taste, on the inside.
The service was excellent, with the busy bartenders being very efficient with their movements.
Most of the tables were filled, and more than half the bar stools were filled, when I was there at 6pm, and service did not falter.
Parking was relatively easy this evening at 6pm ish, as there is a parking lot behind it, and there is street parking..I have passed there when the lot was filled to capacity, and most of the close street parking was taken, and have had to park a distance away.
As I was paying the bill, and complimenting the burger to the bartender, she shared that Burgers are 1/2 off on Mondays and Thursdays
They also have a lot of Happy Hour Food specials, that are on their website, like 1/2 price wings one day, $4 Taco Tuesdays, and other things I didnt pay attention to, but noted, for future reference

We absolutely love this place and have been going for a few years now. I was introduced to this place from my brother and his fiancée. Her cousin is a regular here, and I can see why as everybody inside is always nice and friendly. The bartenders are very friendly and treat you very well. The food is delicious too! We have never had a problem or issue here. Even the outside area in the back is spacious. We just had my brother’s engagement party here over the weekend and all the guests were very impressed with how the staff at Farrells handled everything. They were accommodating to all of our needs and even let us stay past our reserved time. Farrells has fun event nights during the week like Bingo nights every Wednesday and usually a live band for the weekends. Check them out and give them a chance, it may become a new regular place for you.

Great time. Really good food. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Had the Ahi Tuna wrap was delicious. Others had salads with steak and chicken. As well as the spinach dip. Everyone loved everything , also a great selection of bourbon if your into good stuff.
