This is a 4.5 star rating to be clear. I’ve been going to DeNiro’s since they opened, I was a preteen going with my parents. The food is consistently very good. We just visited Maryland last week and had to take our kids to DeNiro’s and thankfully they have good taste and approve! I want to do a special shout out to their shrimp salad. We got a side of it with a Greek Salad and it is GOOD. Now living in Atlanta I appreciate my Maryland roots more and more because we get seafood right. Don’t play with their shrimp salad- we got a great portion, very good size shrimp and no filler! We got two pizzas that went quick, my son got the Cesar chicken wrap and he is still talking about it. We also got the honey old bay wings, nice size wings, crispy, great flavor. DeNiro’s can please everyone in the family, great taste, portions and prices for a delightful family meal. I wish they had a spot in Atlanta!

The world must know. This place has THE BEST chicken cheesesteak I’ve ever had. Like, I actually cannot believe that they’re not famous for this, that it’s not written in huge obnoxious letters on their sign and on their menus. Husband and I have been coming here for literal decades now for it and I’m a putz for not leaving this review ages ago. Here is the deal… the chicken must be marinated in something magical because the flavor is out of this world. Then it’s grilled, then it’s chopped up like a traditional (beef) cheesteak. Unlike so many other places that use that ultra processed chicken steakumm substance. We will occasionally try another shop’s chicken cheesesteak, provided ofc that they also use real chicken (which I confirm ahead of time because just no), but even if we enjoy it enough we are always left saying, “but it’s no Deniro’s”. The sub roll is also top notch, topping fresh and never disappoint. On mine I get fried onions, fried green peppers, mayo and both provolone and american; hubby orders as it’s advertised on the menu. I mean you do you but please for the love of god if this even *sounds* like something you might be interested in, do not sleep on it another week.
Oh and their pizza and fries are great too, when the kids were little we used to bring them here to watch the guys toss the dough around like they were doing a special show just for our family lol, they gave the kids little balls of dough to play with too ugh, sweetness. My only suggestions are these: put Diet Coke in the fountain- Diet Pepsi shouldn’t even exist and ADVERTISE THE WORLD’S BEST CHICKEN CHEESESTEAK. Even w these two minor flaws Deniro’s is still top notch A+++++

I went on the website to order a pizza. They clearly advertised on the website an xl one topping pizza for $12.99. When I called, I was advised that price was wrong and it was $16.99. I was fine with that, even through they are aware the site is wrong and have made to changes. When my pizza arrived it ended up being $27. after tip and delivery. The pizza was very poor quality and greasy. When I called, both managers were rude and did not seem to appreciate the working families that support their business. I ended up having them pick up the pizza and refund, not because that was the best solution, but I decided I do not want to give my business to a company with such little appreciation, horrible customer service and a business sending out poor product. Sad, because I have been a customer there for many years. There is a right and a wrong way to resolve a problem, and they consciously chose the wrong way.

Horrible service. Was charged $10 more than the menu at the place. Gave a miserable excuse. Bad attitudes. I could have went to a restaurant rather than a sub shop for dinner for 2 for $60.

Perry Hall’s hidden gem, that is kind of a big deal. When it comes to cheesesteak subs, you can’t go wrong when ordering from De Niro’s. It’s been one of my favorites since high school and it has kept me coming back almost 10+ years later.

The food is great but needs to do a better job on seeing online if they are open or closed. I ordered online on the 4th not realizing a closed store. Waited an hour before I called with no answer on the other end. Took a drive to see and yup they are closed. Yet online said they were open
