El Ancla is NEXT-LEVEL AMAZING — easily one of the top seafood spots around. I’m here at least twice a week because the food is straight-up unreal. El ancla is my favorite dish comes out bursting with flavor, super fresh, and always hits like a 10/10. The fried rice is a 10/10 also.
The energy is great, the staff is super welcoming, and the portions always leave you satisfied. You can tell they put real love and pride into every plate. This place isn’t just good — it’s addictively good.
My only complaint? I seriously wish they opened earlier, because I’d be in there even more if I could. If you haven’t checked out El Ancla yet, you are missing OUT. Go once and you’ll understand the hype immediately!

First time here and the food was amazing! I had the green agua chile! Spicy taste all good! She greeted us and served us so well! There’s a spot where you can sit and enjoy! Pricing just right ! Will definitely be back!

We tried the seafood tray and it had a little bit of everything—shrimp, octopus, scallops, clams—all seasoned perfectly with just the right amount of spice.

Stopped at this food truck off Highway 242 headed east, right next to the Valero gas station, and it absolutely delivered. We ordered the mixed ceviche with fish and shrimp and it was super fresh, bright, and straight-up delicious. Also grabbed a fajita taco and it was fire, cooked perfectly and full of flavor.
On top of the food, the people working there were genuinely nice, welcoming, and made the whole stop even better. Fresh food, great flavor, good vibes. If you’re cruising down 242, don’t skip this spot.
