Easy seating at 4 pm. Prices on bill were higher than on the menu, but didn’t feel like fussing over it. The portions were smaller than competitors in the area. Overall we enjoyed our meal as it was fresh and hot. The broiled shrimp were seasoned perfectly. The fried shrimp and oysters were also delicious. Our waitress was attentive to our needs keeping our Tea glasses filled.

I am not one to leave a bad review. But, I am extremely disappointed. Prices are ridiculous. This is the one spot in sylva for seafood. We got a poboy, that we were told came with ONE side. Upon checking out we were charged for the side of fries, whatever. Then to look at the bill and see that ONE crab cake is $9 dollars. That is ridiculous. For the poboy, single crab cake and the few fries we received the bill came to 30 dollars. Service is fine, but the prices make me never want to go there again.

Late Review:
I found this restaurant through Google reviews while looking for seafood during a trip to drop my daughter off at college. When we arrived, we seated ourselves and were never acknowledged. A gentleman came out of the kitchen and said someone would be with us shortly, which was fine. However, after waiting about 10 minutes, no one came to take even our drink order.

A few moments later, another family came in and sat behind us. A waitress walked past our table, greeted them, took their drink orders, and completely ignored us. Rather than adressing the issue, my daughter and I decided to leave.

We ended up enjoying our meal at Creekside Oysters House and Grill, where we were immediately greeted, acknowledged, and welcomed. The customer service there was amazing a complete contrast to our experience at this establishment.

They revamped their menu, and while K&M has always been my go to for fresh fish and good classics, the Crawfish Étouffeé on their new menu is fantastic, amazing. Ever since I tried it, Ive woken up every day wanting it again, and on pay day Im gonna buy a bowl of joy. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, high standards, absolutely a spot for locals and tourists

I was cheerfully greeted as soon as I walked in the door. I ordered the Oyster and Shrimp Combo. I opted to have them fried but they offer grilled as well. It came with two sides. I chose french fries and onion rings. I waited at one of the empty tables and a friendly young lady brought me my order for take out. It was piping hot and was still hot when I got it home. There was more than enough for two of us to share. We enjoyed our meal and will be back.

This is the real deal seafood. It’s fresh, it’s tasty, and it’s well prepared. There’s a seafood market which was there before the restaurant. We were told that the market’s been active for 13 years so that’s a really good sign . Restaurants been going for a couple of years and we’re glad it’s close to us. Been looking forward to going to this place since we found out about it. It is set back from the main road going through Sylva past the intersection and right past Zaxby’s. We enjoyed everything that we had. Can’t recommend it enough. The waitress was very nice, Service was quick, the food was freshly prepared, it was my birthday and they gave us a nice little treat. Met the owner and thanked him for a great meal, he was really nice. We also brought home food for other people in the household and they loved it as well. Will be coming back pour some Cajun food next week. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I purchased a fried Catfish-Shrimp combo plate and was unfortunately disappointed. Both the Shrimp and Catfish were essentially flavorless including the breading. The texture of the shrimp was decent at least and not particularly soggy but the catfish was mushy and soggy and tasted like just plain fish in water. The Sauce was decent and was the only thing that made the fish and shrimp have any flavor

We were passing through this cute little town and stopped for lunch! You could miss it form the main road but it’s a good stop if you like fish! It was fresh and tasty and they had some Cajun dip that was pretty good!
Our server was polite and good , service was quick! We had the flounder catfish and shrimp and all were delicious!

This place is a hidden gem but needs to be discovered and shared with everyone! As someone who lived in Louisiana and the Gulf Coast most of my life, I was desperately needing a place for Cajun/Creole food and po boys in WNC. This place is IT! Overstuffed with crispy fried shrimp, you’ll think they moved the Vieux Carre to the mountains. Make sure to get the remoulade. It’s one of the best I’ve ever had.
