Regardless of the popularity or legends about Rawley’s they maintain the drive-in mom and pop feel. Counter order, freshly made classic drive-in food. Burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, fries and more. All absolutely delicious.
Small eat in area with table delivery of your counter order. Looking forward to visiting again!

Best hot dogs on the East Coast. The nostalgia of Rawley’s just makes the food that much better. I grew up in Fairfield but have not lived there since college. When my family and I go back, 4 or 5 times a year, this is our first stop off the highway! If you have not been, definitely go! If you have been, then you are as lucky as I am!

Celebrating it’s 75th year, Rawleys is a Fairfield County staple that serves up a flavor packed selection of all-time American favorites.
World famous for their Hummel Hot Dogs, Rawleys offers a massive variety of toppings including a pretty righteous, “Cincinnati-Style” chili packed with flavor.
All ingredients are locally sourced and everything on the menu is handmade and cooked to order.
The hot dogs are a wonderful option but don’t sleep on the burgers and sides. The handpicked beef patties are well seasoned and perfectly cooked. I enjoy mine just dripping with cheese. The fries are hand-cut in house, and the beer battered onion rings are some of the best I’ve ever had; great onion to breading ratio. Looking to go all out Americana? Accompany your meal with one of the delicious milkshakes.
Rawley’s Drive-In is open daily and open for dine-in and takeout. Definitely check out this family friendly legend.

The guy kicked me out because I finished my food quick and I was just sitting there drinking a drink. The guy also smelt like smoke and was extremely rude, this place is definitely not kid friendly it would’ve been if this one guy was not there this guy who was swearing in the pitching and just kept yelling

Rawley’s Drive In is a true gem of a food stand on Post Road near the train station and downtown district. It is known for its hot dogs, but also has burgers and chicken for offerings. The counter person was bright and cheerful, even though it was around 4:30-5pm, when a lot of other counter people can go blah. He kept his amicable disposition throughout, and was also quite informative. I had the chili dog, which was very tasty, and the chili added a nice kick. The prices were also very favorably comparable to other establishments in the area.
The dining area was a two part setup, with the main dining room being a few windows chairs by the window opposite the counter, with a small side room that had a few tables, but highly recommended by signage for multiple person parties.
All told, I found my time to be well spent and my experience quite enjoyable.

They don’t make places like these anymore. Small place to get a quick bite to eat. Lunchtime getaway. Good food, great price and all made fresh. Will definitely come back for more! Loved it!

Best onion rings ever! Can’t go wrong with the works hot dog. Great mix of flavors. Chili fries are ambrosial. All the fries were covered and the chili is sublime. Grumpy old man took my order but the food made up for his lack of finesse

Rawleys is legendary. My only complaint is the seating. Such a small place being so popular can be a pain. I had my dad, wife and newborn in tow and there’s very little room. The food is always amazing though I can’t complain about that one!! Maybe one day they’ll add extra seating for the winter months…my great grandfather took my grandfather, my grandfather took my Dad, my dad took me and now I take my son and daughter to Rawleys!! Our family got that dawg in em
